Niggabanana Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 This is going on for a few weeks now but i notice that Skyrim always gives me stuttering in terms of the surroundings when running/sprinting, gives me minor to dense FPS drops on some areas that has too many Light Particles, World Objects like trees, and Populated NPC cells although having a decent PC with it. I only experience 30-48 FPS which is odd, i also have some Visual Mods installed but that didn't affect my FPS nor my PC's Performance but still, Skyrim won't give me at least 50-55 FPS. Did i do something wrong with the mods i installed? Also i notice the shadows are still Pixelated and at most cases disturbing with it's flickering lines and poorly distributed even though i tweaked the Prefs so that the Problem should be addressed. I had the Shadows set to 4094 but some people suggest 2048 yet the pixelated shadows are still there. Here's some Basic Overview of my PC: MotherBoard : MSI B85M - P33 CPU : Intel core I-5-4440 (Quad Core 4th Gen-U) 3.10GHz RAM : Kingston 16GB GSKILL RIPJAWSX 8GBX2 1600MHZ (F3-12800CL10D-16GBXL) DDR3 GPU / Videocard : POWERCOLOR HD7750 2GB DDR3 128BIT (AX7750 1GBK3-H) OS : Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit BOSS Log: These plugins are recognised by BOSS and have been sorted according to its masterlist. In Game screenshots (i'll post the shadows being pixelated, also some stuttering) I really need some advice and second opinions on this since i don't do much stuff on my PC nor i don't know why Skyrim is still stuttering or having minor FPS drops / LAGs in some cases.
Gallstafff01 Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 From what i'm seeing, your Graphics Card really pulls down on your systems performance. You have a great processor and some really nice ram, the only issue is your weak Graphics Card. I'm pretty sure you cant run many enb preset's with comfortable frame rates, so i'd recommend RCRN, or Pure Weather. There is really nothing you can do about Skyrim's crappy shadows unless your using a high-quality enb preset or have the shadow's resolution set really high.

Sucks though, i thought my GPU is really High-end from what the specs say, but i guess it's the incompatibility that sets it's performance to minimum. Although thanks for the Advise about the Shadows but I had a different view when i posted this on Nexus, they say to cut my Shadows to 2048 but i set it to 4096 as said the to that "5 Tweaks you don't Know" and found it quite good without the Performance issue. Maybe i shou'd get High Res DLC now
Gallstafff01 Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Based on "HWcompare" and "GPUboss" your graphics card is half as good as mine and I struggle with enb presets. If you want better visuals without a performance loss I would recommend mods like RCRN, or even I Cant Believe It's NOT An ENB. You could also see if there are any sweetfx presets you like here. Also, you could try these INI files.

Also, this should give you an idea of the level your gpu is at.
