CTD while saving after sex animations

I've been having an issue I can't figure out. Any time my character is involved in a sex scene, the scene plays out just fine start to finish, but the next time I save the game after that, whether it be right after or five or so minutes later, the game crashes to desktop. It only happens on a save and it doesn't start happening immediately. When I start a new game, the first few sex scenes play out fine, and I can save afterwards just fine, but then eventually I CTD on save after sex scenes.

 

I've tried running the clean debug feature in the SexLab framework, clicking the cancel animation debug option, removing the SL mods I thought were the problem (the ones initiating the sex scene at the time), regenerating the FNIS output, clean saving without the sex lab mods active and reinstalling them and generating a new FNIS output and bashed patch, everything I can think of and it still CTDs on save. Moving to a new cell before saving also did not work. It may be related or not but I also noticed that I could not interact with any crafting stations like forges, tanning racks, etc after sex scenes, or mount a horse. I've also noticed that after deleting the StorageUtil.save file (Mod Organizer puts it into the Override folder) the first save after a sex scene will work fine but after the second or third scene, the crashes on save start up again.

 

FNIS is up to date (5.0.2) with creature patch. All of the SL mods I have installed are up to date as of a few days ago. There has to be something I'm missing... a known mod conflict, or... something. In case it's relevant, I use Mod Organizer to play Skyrim. Any ideas? Here's my load order:

Hmm I might have fixed my issue. On a whim I removed the "Height adjusted races" mod, wondering if perhaps it's race scaling was conflicting with the sexlab option to scale actors for better alignment. Since removing it, I haven't had a CTD. I'll give it some more time and if starts happening again I'll post my papyrus log.
