  1. 1. Which type of mod from which game would you like ported on skyrim ?

    • Weapons
    • Perks
    • Original weapons (like morrowind-ish 3 Era Weapons mod)
    • A whole region/land (like morrowind's Balmora port into oblivion)
    • Armors
    • Other*
    • All of above !

I let myself another poll since people gave a good amount of feedback under 2 days for my first one. This one will be about mod ports (25,6 percent of the votes on the last poll). So, Which one ? =)

I expect some morrowind-ish ones, such as the Morrowind Comes Alive

adding thousands of bogus NPC with different actions and classes, making the towns more crowded. http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=mods.detail&id=563

Another one would be gun ports from F3 or NV, even if it is lore-breaking, it's too tempting to blast those dragons away with heavy firepower. Most important is the gauss rifle ofc ! or maybe some old shrapnel shotgun to leave some immersivity.. Problem would be the animation, as unlike morrowind, there's no crossbow in skyrim.

I'm slowly learning how to port armors using 3ds max atm. I really want the tera armors from oblivion ported in to my skyrim game. These are some of my all time favorite designs and I can not wait until I'm skilled enough to get it all done.

I can relate, Ryan. I have tons of models from other games I'd like to port over but no skills. :) I asked someone how to do hair though but I haven't had time to try it.

ohh no... I have most of the models, trimmed the way I want them as they were all in Oblivion. so my job is pretty easy on that front. My total lack of knowledge is becoming abundantly clear the more I mess up my skyrim install LOL

Like I said in the other thread, I'd love a Shoujo/x117 port. I'd also like more armor/clothes and as many of the Oblivion poses as possible. I find setting up and taking screenshots to be oddly relaxing, and screenies work best when I've lots of options for "costuming" and posing. :)

Tera armor in particular would be great, either from Oblivion versions or ripped from the MMO itself. Admittedly, some of it's a bit too over-the-top for me, but some of it is quite nice.

You seem to have the same ideas I have. I love having as many clothing / armor/ pose mods as I can and spending hours getting the perfect screenshots. I bet 80% of my time playing oblivion was taking screen shots.

I'm going to try to start my modding adventure by porting most of the tera inspired armors from here http://mods247.blogspot.com/search?updated-min=2011-01-01T00:00:00-08:00&updated-max=2012-01-01T00:00:00-08:00&max-results=27

I might do the armors but I'm going to concentrate on the dresses and clothing first.

I know what you mean, lol. I'd already logged hundreds of hours in vanilla Oblivion before I discovered mods, after which I basically stopped "playing" the game and started using it like a great big mod studio to tkae screenies of my smexy new characters. :)

And thanks for that link, some great-looking stuff there. I'm hoping to (sooner or later) figure out how to make "disguise" sets like that Elin ebony replacer, some of which will use/be based on other Tera outfits.
