How to change eyes on custom vampire race?

Im trying to change eyes on Cots v2 in CK, I made a few new eyes and assigned them to vampire race of custom race that I want to change, and when I go ingame I can indeed change eyes to custom one, but whenever id switch forms or reload the save my eyes would change to default.

 

Oh and im using better vampires as well, but im not sure if it changes eye appearance at all.

 

So, my question is how to change eyes to custom vampire race for good?
