How to edit skeleton?

Hello everyone, I just wanted to ask if there is some tutorials which can explain how to edit XPMS skeleton or some another skeleton in blender or 3ds max? I want to make very fat female model, but without clipping bugs on the hands. I think if I could increase shoulder bones length then it can be a solution. Please someone help me to understand how to edit skeleton bones.

If im not mistaken, you can do it in Nifskope. Im guessing xp32 or Skulltyrant would know a bit, hit up Skulltyrant on here, and xp32 on Nexus

In nigskope you can change only bone scale. I can't contact Skulltyrant on nexus since I can't use private messages there. On this forum for some reason I can't find him
