Modifying Item Values

Is there an easy way to change the stats of an item in the game? I want to merge together the attributes of the shrouded armor and thieve's guild armor.

If there is, please tell how to edit the armorrating cause i don't want to wear the same armor all the time since the others suck compared to it.

Wasn't there a small CK like program called Skyrimedit floating around here a few days back? Eh. Anyway, I noticed that alot of people have managed to remove enchantments and change other qualities of items. I hear they use a mix of FNVedit. I can't explain how it works though since I've never used it myself
