superderp Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 I'd like to think I'm at least decent in installing mods. I had around fifty for Oblivion, including FOMOD, working without issue. I use 31 regular Skyrim mods without issue before I'm now getting into body replacer mods for the first time. But I just cannot seem to get them to work, much less understand which ones I can and can't use together and why and how and what order to install them in. These are the mods I'm interested in: CHSHBC - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4888/ (I know I'm not supposed to use NMM with it) UNP Blessed Body - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37900 XP32 Skeleton - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26800/? FNIS - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11811/ (I know to run the .exe after installing) Enhanced Character Edit - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12951 UNP Replacer Configuration Package - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/20884 TroubleMakers Clothing - UNPB UNP BBP BBPx TBBP MTM Female Body Replacer - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/20227/ I only included that last one because none of the other clothing mods I'm looking at mention being body replacers in themselves. And then once these are functioning I'm looking into the SexLab mods. So I'm on a fresh installation of Skyrim. Which of the mods I listed can I use together and in which order do I install them?
Oversette Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 · Install XP32 Skeleton, FNIS and, if you want, ECE.· Then chose ONE among UNPB, CHSHBC, CBBE, etc. Notes:FNIS is about animations, not body replacers, but you will need it for SexLab anyways.I don't know what the UNP Replacer Configuration Package is for, to be honest.I think that's it.
superderp Posted December 22, 2013 Author Posted December 22, 2013 Excellent, exactly what I wanted to know. Thank you!
Parky Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 Don't feel bad, took me quite a while to start figuring it out, by the time you do, there is another one.....
Koko.Hekmatyar Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 The UNP config is a compilation of a lot of the mods that were made for UNP with UNPB support rolled into a nice installer it makes changing options quicker. I personally don't use it anymore since XP32 took over the UNPB project.
Parky Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 One thing I liked about UNPB is that it embraces a bunch of mods I was using into 1 mod, so it reduced the number of mods I have running (trying to keep it around 100 and no more)
arthurh3535 Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 For load order, I'd really suggest BOSS or the other utility. BOSS's list is updated very regularly. The only problem I've had recently is when my CBBE and armor mods craps out my installation and I have to uninstall them all and then reinstall them all.
superderp Posted December 26, 2013 Author Posted December 26, 2013 Yeah, BOSS is boss. No question. I had everything working, and then I came across the Feminine Running mod and put that on and somehow broke Dual Sheath Redux and I couldn't fix it so I'm on a fresh install again. So would anyone know the best order of installation for these mods: FNIS SkyUI XP32 Maximum Skeleton UNP Blessed Body Schlongs of Skyrim XPMSplusSOSplusSMS Skeleton - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36923/? Dual Sheath Redux - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34155/? Feminine Running and New Dash Animation - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11447/? (optional, really) I'm also putting on Race Menu, SexLab, SG Textures, and Apachii but I doubt those really matter in terms of skeletons and models.
Oversette Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 According to the author of XPMSplusSOSplusSMS Skeleton, it should be:· FNIS· Dual Sheath· SOS· UNPB· XPMS· Feminine Running· XPMSplusSOS· Then run FNIS SkyUI and the others you mentioned can be installed before or after.
superderp Posted December 26, 2013 Author Posted December 26, 2013 haha I actually used that last time and completely forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me! Sixth: Immersive animations for any of you using DSR the animation included in this replacer work great and look fantastic just remember to NOT overwrite the female skeleton What does this mean, though? DSR is Dual Sheath Redux. I also do use Immersive Animations, I forgot about that. This is where I got confused last time. Can I get the animations without overwriting the skeleton?
