need some help with eye textures

For some reason some of the followers mod I Install do have some purple shinings on the eyes. At first I thought It was because creator of the mod didn't included some texture that it supposed to but after I installed other mods from other creators they also do have the same problem.  I tried asking the mod creator but He/she doesn't have any idea about this bug and it seems to happen only on me. Since I don't have any idea on what to do at this point I'm asking here in case anyone may have an idea or do have a fix for this problem.

Tell the authors to check whether the eye_sk.dds is linked in the Facegeom NIF. Racemenu exports the heads without adding the path of the eye_sk.dds.

I have to do it myself every time. If I don't do it, it looks exactly like your picture. So it will be that or the path is there but not the texture.

This is how it should look. Add the third missing path to the nif. I don't think it's any different with SE. (eye_sk.dds)

Thank you you are a life saver it actually works.

But one of the follower mods I had this problem is BSA packed so how Can I change facegeom files if it's BSA packed? Also this problem doesn't seem to happen on everyone why its specifically happen to us? Or perhaps everyone actually has this problem but some people doesn't realize it?

No problem. The bug is usually visible outside, at least with my setting. If the NPC is in a building, you probably won't see it.

If a follower had this problem, I would either use the BSA unpacker (LE) to unpack the files. Or find out the paths in the nif/esp and

add these missing files myself, if i have them. The game reads the loose files first.

 

To unpack, simply copy the bsa archive to a new folder on your desktop and unzip it with the tool.

Then move the files back to the follower mod folder and add the missing files.

 

Unfortunately this Tool isn't available for SSE, but there are a few others. Take a look here.
