Can start new game but trying to load saves from said game causes crash

I don't know what to do. I can start a new game but any attempts to load a save result in a crash. I have the engine fixes and everything but the game just keeps crashing even if it's a save that I made only a short moment ago and have changed nothing since closing it.

Edit: I feel like the main issue is something to do with XPMSSE. I've been trying to fix the crash on my own and I've found two main things are consistent:
1. Male bodies sometimes have a stretching issue even when I am able to get into Helgen

2. Reinstalling XPMSEE somehow fixes the CTD I get when trying to load an old save

 

However, periodically, the crash will return. Hope that can give some more info to help.
