ceruleanboar Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Hey Team,  I'm having an issue where the bristlebacks don't move or animate. I thought it was an issue with immersive creatures, but I just reverted to vanilla skyrim and still have the same problem.  Can anyone try spawning one in their game like this?  player.placeatme xx02403B 1  replace xx with the load order of dragonborn (probably 04). Does it start attacking you and moving with animations?  http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Dragonborn:Bristleback    Thanks
DigitalVixen Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 I have to get pretty close to them for them to attack me in my game, but they do attack and animate just fine. I also have Immersive Creatures, so that shouldn't be the issue. Â Load up TES5Edit and open up Dragonborn, find the Bristlebacks and see if there any mods further down the loadorder which changes anything about them. Also if you have a very heavily modded game the Papyrus engine may just be overloaded causing this creature to not function properly...
ceruleanboar Posted November 6, 2013 Author Posted November 6, 2013 Thanks DigitalVixen. Did you by change try to do a spawn via the console?I reverted to a vanilla skyrim with no mods just to test this
ceruleanboar Posted November 10, 2013 Author Posted November 10, 2013 FIgured out the issue... I went through the step guide on optimizing BSAs. This turns out to be a bad thing for BSAs that have anything other than textures in them. It was causing an animation issue with the DLC creature.
