[XCL] More Femininity Triggers

Warning: this is very experimental and may be broken all kinds of ways. Use at your own risk (and if you do use it, let me know if there's anything in it that is broken in the X-Change discord)!

 

This mod adds a large number of additional triggers to the game to lose masculinity and gain femininity.  Almost all of these triggers are "thought" based, but some happen if you say or do a certain thing. The general idea is that when it comes to taking x-change and staying masculine, your mind will slowly and unstoppably betray you (most of this mod is about things that aren't related to sex).

Some but not all of the new triggers include: thoughts about clothes you're wearing as a woman; thoughts about your breasts while you are a woman; "talking dirty" during foreplay; "complimenting his cock" during foreplay; watching x-change porn on your computer; doing chores with the Live-in Maid side effect; focusing on the mental effects of the Secretary pill; hanging out with a beach buddy; being a woman and being aroused in public; getting your hair done; and more. This also uncaps losing masculinity if you have chosen The Artist in the makeup dream.

 

I can see people using this who (a) like a faster track for losing masculinity in their playthroughs, (b) want to play a reluctant male and make it even harder to stay masculine, and (c) enjoy the concept of taking a lot of things in the game that are currently flavor text and giving them some pizzazz, and most importantly (d) players who wish for masculinity loss to more easily drop to very low numbers.

 

Installation:

1. Download the More Femininity Triggers with flavor text.twee file and place it inside the X-Change game folder.
2. Add it with Mod-Loader and then click load mod.

It should work for at least 18a. I could see it working for a any version after the Secretary pill was introduced.

I like most of the triggers, but house cleaning with the Live-In Maid effect is way too much  You can lose 5+ feminity just from one cleaning session, which is more than most sex scenes. I guess the simplest "balance fix" would be to only lose 1 point, and the more "immersive one" is to lose a point while male and 1+ points while female when father/sister watch you clean a room.

Thank you for the suggestion! I kinda wanted the maid stuff to be a huge femininity gain because the side effect is really reworking your brain and also you can get out of chores just from paying rent or getting a robot vacuum. But point taken and I will look into adjusting!

Yeh, that's the problem that you can easily avoid house cleaning, even if you have the mod that removes the robot vacuum. I'm slowly learning XCL modding by examples and will see if I have any ideas to "fix" this^^ Ultimately, if Live-In Maid effect is active, you should clean from time to time even if you pay the rent, because you LOVE cleaning! In that case losing 5+ masculinity every time combined with other triggers might be too much, but in the end it's a personal preference which I can easily adjust myself

Sweet! Yeah, hm just think of Live-In Maid as "hard mode" for this Femininity Triggers mod lol

 

I am going to upload a new version soon that will have flavor text that goes with the femininity gains as well.

Heya Curio. I don't suppose you could add compatibility for MultipleCharacters, could you? Currently the mod loader flags a conflict on the "thought clothes" function.

A little bug report: in ":: proposition reject bj aroused result" there is a missing "]" before (display:"proposition accept bj") which messes up the text (see attached screenshot).

Wanted to add onto this, saying that I made a quick fix to the mod in response to the pic above, and also edited text for being aroused at the bar that I believe was also bugged and in the wrong order.

Hello all - this is a version of the mod without the edits to the computer/viewing porn. I took out the section to not conflict with the BR Porn mod.

There's something wrong in ":: salon hairstyle update" @curiocurio @ArmaSoldier512.

When I try to get my hair done at the salon I get this message: I can't find a ('space buns') data name in a datamap (with "bangs", "blowout", "cornrow braid", "braids",  and 10 other datanames)

curio this is my first time reporting an error but the mod disables some lines apparently cause after i do the chores i can't see any prompt or choice to go to another room of the house to keep cleaning it is indeed this mod i tested it, i hope i don´t sound annoying anyway have a good day or night 😛

I have the same issue, as cptkeely reported. now I was mostly able to go around this issue, by going into the, either the day planer, or the change clothes, an then back out again, ending up in the bedroom,, but if Frank(not sure if the same is the case with Alexia) is in the room that option does not seem to be available, I run the the 0.19 i believe it is.

I've been trying pretty hard to replicate this bug the last few days and haven't had any luck. I'll keep at it, but a screenshot of it happening might help. Thank you!

Can confirm that I was having this issue as well until I disabled More Femininity Triggers with the latest X-Change Life build. Did the same workaround, too, by pressing the Plan button and then back to work, but I would get locked in place if either Frank or Alexia were in the room that needed cleaning.
