What is VeronicaNN?

A re-imagining of Veronica which strives to be as lore-friendly as possible and incredibly smutty at the same time, allowing you to explore your wildest fantasies by fully unlocking Veronica's sexuality. A complete adult-themed overhaul of Veronica featuring a new, photorealism-inspired appearance ( Optional ), new outfits, A.I voiceover and a brand new adult companion quest.

Realistic Makeover - Unlike most other mods that modify Veronica's visual appearance, VeronicaNN aims for more, not less realism. Using Type4 as a baseline model, Veronica's natural facial characteristics have been preserved with light facial freckles and beauty spots added to better reflect her time in the Mojave and give her a more 'organic' look, as well as abs and piercings, topped off with an Acies Apachii hairstyle. If you don't like turning Veronica into a Japanese anime blowup doll, this is intended for you. If you want the dialogue and quest without the makeover, check out VeronicaNNVanilla.

 

A.I Voiceover - Every line of dialogue in VeronicaNN comes with mostly seamless A.I voiceover. ( Disclaimer: All voice lines in this mod were trained from Bethesda Game Files available for modification and are imitations of Fallout: New Vegas characters, not real human voices. )

Companion Quest - Probably the mod's 'flagship' feature, VeronicaNN contains a full-fledged NSFW quest starring Veronica with several characters, interactive text-based sexual encounters, nudity, multiple choices, outcomes and rewards.

Content Advisory - VeronicaNN is a hardcore erotic smut experience, not a light romance. Dialogue and text are extremely graphic and in classic Fallout fashion, sometimes whacky. However, it also plays into Veronica's canon personality and carefree manner - think of it as setting a goal of making up for the complete absence of any sexual expression by Veronica in the original game, despite the frequent allusions. 

Male Characters - You might be asking yourself, is there any reason to download the mod if I'm playing a male? If you want a sexually lore-accurate Veronica that you can't fuck, then yes. You get the visual overhaul, you can get the outfits, you can ask Veronica some questions, and most importantly - you can take part in her quest, which also has exclusive male content, albeit admittedly to a lesser degree than female characters. Check out the quest spoilers if you want exact details.

How to Start -

 

In order to begin The Sisterhood of Steel, Veronica must be in your party and you must've talked to Linda Schuler, Melissa Watkins and Knight Torres at least once. Under '..Sexual proclivities', choose 'I couldn't help but notice that you've been ogling every girl we come across'.

 

How to Fail -

 

Veronica dying will fail the quest. Veronica permanently leaving will fail the quest. Killing Linda Schuler, Melissa Watkins and Knight Torres combined will fail the quest. Killing or otherwise turning hostile everyone in the BoS bunker, or Veronica leaving the BoS, will fail the quest. Pursuing a monogamous relationship ( It's one option ) with Veronica will fail the quest. Killing individual characters midway will usually NOT fail the quest, but may prevent you from completing it if you're caught. 

 

Dialogue Progression - 

 

Need to speak to Veronica but can't find the selection? It's always going to be under the main 'Sexual proclivities' menu.

 

Help, I failed a check and can't reload! -

 

The skill and ability challenges are intentionally inescapable to discourage metagaming. Failing any of them will just lead to a different result and the quest will resume.

 

Where do I find the new outfits? - 

 

You can get them during Melissa and Torres's arcs in the Sisterhood of Steel. If you can't complete the quest and want them anyway, Open the Console and type 'Player.AddItem VeronicaNNArmorSexyScribe 1' for the sexy scribe outfit or 'Player.Additem VeronicaNNBoxingArmorLesser 1' for the training clothes.

 

How do I make Veronica my girlfriend? - 

 

You have to be female, to have had sex with Veronica at least one time, and to have finished 'I could make you care', her personal questline. Otherwise she will say that she's not ready to move on with an actual relationship just yet.

 

How do I get the best ending? - 

 

You have to be female and to have joined Veronica during Schuler's arc and go through the extended route, to obtain the dress for Veronica, and to complete Torres's arc. The final reward is only useful for females anyway.

 

Are there new perks? - 

 

Yes. Check your PIpBoy often.

 

Technical

Installation - It is highly recommended that you download and install TYPE4 - Body and Armors priorly, although Veronica's transformation should function independently, many portions of the companion quest are made more immersive or portrayed properly with Type4, and it might be crucial for seamless outift integration. Download and install VeronicaNN with a mod manager of your choice and place it in the load order AFTER Type4 and anything else conflicting with it. Forno and VK's Sexy Vault Girl Interface is also recommended but not mandatory.

Compatibility - Likely incompatible with any mod that changes Veronica's appearance unless you're using the Vanilla Appearance version or override it, tampers too much with her dialogue or scripts, and with mods which drastically change Hidden Valley and its interiors. ENB's and other imagespace modifier which interfere with Fade to Black transitions will break your immersion. Unlimited Companions are not a hard incompatibility but can break immersion, and using ANY console command whatsoever to mess with or bypass quest objectives and references could easily break your quest.

There's no Sexout integration yet so the player's sexual interactions with Veronica in the dialogue are fade to black with sounds, but the questline's sex scenes involve visual nudity ( If you have T4 or Sexout installed ) and interactive text-based erotica. I'm not sure Sexout Animations would be ideal though because some of those sex scenes are pretty detailed.

I'm having difficulty with getting Schuler's event in her office to trigger. I am standing by the chair at the prescribed times with veronica in tow.

Try standing as close to the back of the patient's chair ( First chair in front of the desk as you walk through the door ) and wait for at least a few minutes, also make sure that A. The time isn't approaching 5AM very soon, B. That Veronica is following you and that she is free to move around ( Not waiting/relaxing ), C. No mods affecting Veronica's behavior/BoS behavior installed.

Veronica should also be inside the clinic with you near the chair while you're waiting, I.E not too far off outside the doorway. Let me know if it still doesn't work after a good minute or two of waiting.

The two thighs I can think of are that I have Willow installed (doubt it's that) and Titans Of The New West, which alters power armor.

So you're saying that after following all the instructions - Waiting a minute or two, making sure Veronica is inside the clinic next to you and is free to move, nothing happens still?

Well, it's going to be challenging figuring out exactly what about your build is causing it, the problem must be on your end since several people both here and on the Nexus talked about finishing the quest already, a lot of downloads and so far this is the only report of getting stuck, which means it has to be a pretty uncommon element in your setup or savegame interfering with the packages or scripts somehow. 

The easiest way is probably going to be just bypassing the sitting sequence entirely. Go to the clinic in the day instead of during the night, or alternative teleport Linda Schuler to the clinic at night by typing 'LindaSchulerREF.MoveTo Player' while you're inside the clinic. Next up, although this isn't strictly mandatory but should prevent a few potential issues, freeze all the actors involved while making sure Linda, Veronica and yourself are all fairly close to each other. Do this by typing into the console:

 

'LindaSchulerREF.SetRestrained 1', followed by 'VeronicaREF.SetRestrained 1', followed by 'DisablePlayerControls'

 

Finally, start their scripted conversation by typing 'LindaSchulerREF.SayTo VeronicaREF VeronicaNNClinicSex01'. 

Also if you're interested in testing out whether it's your savegame or the modlist/game itself causing the issue, you could try starting a new game, teleporting to the 188 and recruiting Veronica, teleporting to Hidden Valley, talking to all 3 women quickly, then starting the quest and checking if it's still doing nothing.

Well I moved it to the highest priority in MO2 but I didn't move the esp to the highest priority. I had the ESP load last and suddenly it just works,.

Now my only issue is that knight Torres and all other parties stay fully armed and armored during the boxing match. It goes on infinitely.

Well based on the previous comment there has to be some mod in the load order messing up scripts. I can only advise a manual override once again by opening the console, clicking on Torres, typing 'RemoveAllItems', and then 'AddItem WeapNVBoxingTape 1' if you want. If there's still an infinity loop between you and Torres then try typing 'kill' with her selected or 'SetActorValue Health 0', and if there's an infinity loop during her fight with Veronica then do the same with Veronica selected.

So after some fiddling I decided to load up the "basic" version of the official Viva NV load order and load up my save game. The same issue occurred, so I must have busted something at the save level. Thankfully manually adding the boxing tape seems to have made it work.

It says the BEST ending requires a female character. Do this mod do anything as a male character? I wouldnt mind being a wingman for her.

Yes, absolutely. You can still talk to Veronica about some of her sexual experiences ( But not flirt or have sex with her ) and you can fully act as a wingman in her quest. Not only that, but there's an entire sexual encounter arc designed for a male character with another character in the quest itself.

The best ending is just one where Veronica is so pleased with everything that happened that she rewards you with a perk that boosts something which only works if you're in a lesbian sexual relationship with her to begin with. Male characters can still get the 'normal' ending or the bad ending.

I noticed a bug. Veronica's body turned black after I used console commands to remove her clothing and fast traveled. Noticing it first I tried reloading a save back to before I removed her clothes and her body is still black. What happened and how can I fix it?

After the boxing/training with Torres its conclusion, I've lost my Ranger Sequoia gun from the mandatory unequip and Veronica won't remove the boxing tape no matter what weapon I give her.

I didn't lose any of my weapons, but I am having the same issue with Veronica not unequiping the tape. Have you considered using Console Commands to just reacquire the gun? Should be a quick fix if you can't find another one (and I know how rare the damn things can be).

Nah, I just said screw it. Went back to a previous save and skipped the quest. The quest reward was underwhelming and didn't make a change to the companion so...

 

I figure I'll uninstall if the only big change to gameplay was the spanking flirtation.

 

After Companion Ivy on FO4, I had higher expectations. I just adjusted to the reality of the limitations of the game and the time it was made. No biggie,
