What game to mod/Is FONV modding dead?

Hello.

 

I wanted to ask about this since I have not really got any community engagement in my FONV modding and I am running out of ideas. Should I switch over to modding a different game?

I still love NV and still play it with sexout mods, most users just lurk dont lose motivation, but its your decision. Fuck I mostly lurk most times.

If the goal of mod-making is the greatest amount of community engagement, then perhaps make stuff for Skyrim and the Sims. While some positive response from internet strangers can be nice, (and at the risk of sounding like a manufactured motivational speaker) all you can really control is your own satisfaction with what you create.

The main reason for wanting community engagement is to get suggestions and inspiration. I am not good at coming up with concepts on my own.

To be clear, I am not suggesting copying anyone else, nor demanding mods be made to my preference, just listing a few examples.
