When I use it, the winter armor CTDs me, and by default, her hair texture seems to be missing, and she has pink pants.

I haven't used her in combat, she seems to follow commands like a typical follower.

No crashes, however she refuses to equip the not safe for work variant of the armor. And her pants are pink on my end.

 

 

 

edit: just noticed shadows aren't being rendered..wtf.

Well that's my issue not yours.

That's odd, the hair texture is normal for you it seems. I don't get why the pants are pink though. They were pink for me too, but the hair was textureless where yours isn't.

Looked via nifscope,

"d:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\data\textures\northgirl\northtrousers.dds"

My drive starts with c not d. I suggest removing the directory path leaving just "textures/northgirl/ect"

 

 

It seems I would need to download the source files from the North girl armor in order to use these pants.

I just know she's supposed to look like this. http://imgur.com/a/DHRTE   But the readme was fairly vague and there's not really any info on her. I looked for the northgirl armor you mentioned, and it has pieces this uses so maybe that's the right track.

 

EDIT: So I fixed the pants being purple by downloading northgirl and changing the path from D to C, which in turn made me stop CTDing when I even touched her armor.. But I still have the issue of her hair having no textures.

Hmm that hair looks like the pony hairstyles mod by azar..something.

Try installing the mod and see if the hair textures appear.

I downloaded the hair, used the mesh from the follower, and attached the texture, and it worked, but using the texture the follower came with doesn't show. Any idea why that might be? They're the same textures.

 

EDIT: I looked and the texture the follower came with is much bigger and higher res. Wonder why it works for you.

Well unless I'm missing an obvious clue, my technical skills pretty much stop here. So I can't help you any further.

 

I'm sure someone will chime in sooner or later to help you out.
