If anyone know hows to edit the shards that you can find in game please let me know!

Finally figured it out.

 

It sucks to edit because every shard and email in the game is in one single file and I have no idea how to make it actually work consistently in a way that allows my game to even start.

 

So far I added 1 test shard and got the game to actually start up and saw the altered shard working in game.

 

Might shelf this forever if I can't figure out why it doesn't work 99% of the time. Working with strings and codes in hex editor 010 is not my strong suit. I was hopeful I could just edit a text doc or notepad++ and call it a day.

 

Just updating if anyone else is looking at this as well.
