Tips for Maya Havok Physics?

Hello!

I'm trying to rig a character for Guitar Hero: World Tour and it uses Havok 5.5.0, I'm using Autodesk Maya 2008 with the Havok plugin installed and I have some questions regarding how to set up constraints, capsules, collision, etc. I'm watching canderes' tutorial but I feel like I'm doing somwthing wrong with the capsules and constraints. 

 

I just want to understand how these work, thank you!
