Blanky1231 Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 There are several problems. First, The game doesn't create Mods file after I restart game several time. So, I made one and got resource.cfg Second, I just copy pasted WW, but not working I restarted game and computer several time. Tried repair, remove and reinstall. In the "The Sims 4" files, there are _Installer, Data, Delta, Game, Mods,(I created this because game didn't make one) Support. In Mods file WickedWhimsMod and Resource.cfg does anybody know why this happening?
hu2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Is your WW folder structure like this? https://prnt.sc/2PbT6HVtnjKL

Remove the folder you made in Sims 4 directory in Program files (or wherever you have it installed) cause it might damage your game and go to Documents > Electronic Arts > Sims 4 This is the place where you have mods, save and tray folder. But because you modified the installation path I would maybe reinstall the game just to be extra safe.
Blanky1231 Posted September 9, 2023 Author Posted September 9, 2023 So I remove and download again program file->ea-> sims nothing changed no mods folder after restart so create one again but still mod not working

hu2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Sounds like you're messing up your installation. For me at least the default installation folder is not what you described! It is: C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4 I would fully uninstall the game, restart the pc, then install the game again, this time letting it use its default location in your hard drive. Once it's done, you will have a Mods folder (along with others) in your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 folder. That's a different folder form the installation one.

I told you it's incorrect. Do NOT put anything here You have to go to User > Documents > Electronic Arts > Sims 4 Correct path is: C:\Users\'your user name'\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 If you're still unable to find right place watch this video and follow it: Edited September 9, 2023 by mcromance
