This mod adds a new girl to the game using pornstar Violet Myers as the model. I'm not a coder at all, so there may be some bugs in here. If you find any please let me know in the support forum or in the discord chat and I'll try to get them fixed ASAP.

 

Many of the clips used for videos include the logos for the original video sources. We're gonna pretend this is a feature and not a bug for now, by saying that they're there so you can search out the source videos yourself. If someone else wants to take the time to remove those and give me some clean clips to work with I would appreciate it. Otherwise it's something I'll maybe get to at some point.

 

I'm also aware that some of the photos are different sizes than those used for the other girls. Resizing the existing images causes them to squish into weird proportions, and sourcing images that are already of similar proportions is a real pain in the ass. I've already agonized over the images chosen for this and feel that I've chosen the best of what's available. If you have images that match the standards of the default girls, I'll take them and implement them into the mod if I think they're as good or better than what I have, but otherwise I'm not looking to correct these.

 

What this mod includes:

  • New images and descriptions for this character model
  • New videos and images for every currently existing sexual interaction
  • Unique outfits and hairstyles
  • New positions for sex partners at your house

 

Not included (as of current release):

  • Unique audio files (uses Jade's audio)
  • Unique pregnancy scenes (uses Ella's clips)
  • No custom scenes or scenes to take the place of those unique to existing characters. This means there's no equivalent to things like Rae's gym scene or the beach scenes with Jia, only the standard scenes at the gym, mall, beach, office, and home.

 

Compatibilities:

Should be compatible with all other mods.

 

Requirements:

cnwjr's Multiple Characters mod.


Installation Instructions

  1. Download the mod 
  2. Add .zip files directly in to Mod Loader
  3. Hit the "Load Mods" button
  4. Make sure to use the resulting X-Change Life Mod.html
  5. End of list

Important: If you have extracted the .zip files instead of loading them directly into the Mod Loader, you need to make sure you have added all 3 violet files into Mod Loader or you will not have the outfits and sex positions associated with this character. The same is true for the dozen plus files in the Multiple Characters mod. Each of these needs to be added and loaded into Mod Loader for the character to work properly in game. This is a real pain in the ass (and not in a good way) so it's significantly easier to just not extract the files, and just load the .zip in directly.

I would not have been able to make any of this without cnwjr and his "sample mod for adding an 11th girl to the roster." mod and then his Multiple Characters mod. This mod is based entirely on his frameworks, so massive thanks to him for making any of this possible. Also, big thanks to MightyOnion, Onyx, and UsagiTripleSix for help with coding and AI art questions.

you have to extract the rar, which should give you a folder containing 2 .js files, a .twee file, a folder labeled "img" and another labeled "aud." The folders you can just add to the game's directory. The other 3 files you need to add to mod loader, make sure they're enabled, then load mods. Once this is done you'll have an X-Change Life Mod broswer icon in whatever folder your mod loader is in. Run the game from that one and not the default link. If you miss the step with the img and aud folders there won't be any images, videos, or audio clips for the game to draw on.

I can't find a ('male name') data name in a datamap (with "gender", "id", "race", "breasts", "butt", and 26 other datanames)

 

Message also reappears if pregnancy happens, then is stuck in loop of being unable to find pregnancy related data names and being unable to click anything but "next", looping back to being unable to find pregnancy data names. Closing and reopening to turn pregnancy off is still viable, but any references on the male side of things gives this message.

 

Update: Deleted and did a fresh install of XCL with no other mods. Message no longer happens. Not sure if that helps. Mod Loader said no conflicts. Adding them in one at a time to see if it happens again.

 

Update 2: Happens every once in a while with coworkers. Only two of them, others behave normally.

I don't see any real reason to abandon what I already have, especially now that the bulk of the work is done and she'll only need a few things added each time a new version of the main game comes out. I am currently not really doing any work on the mod though, simply because I just don't have the time in my personal life right now. Hopefully when things are a bit more stable for me I'll be able to correct the errors others have pointed out and add some more content.

I need to go through and update the mod. I know there's a couple audio files that are missing and missing script for whatever is in the newest version of multiple characters. Will hopefully have it up soon.

I just copied and pasted the files provided by either the original Multiple Characters Mod or one of the original modded characters (I can't remember which). With that .json file I just included the names and characteristics of the outfits I wanted for Violet and made sure the images matched. My coding ability is extremely limited, so I'm basically just working with whatever other people make and trial and erroring my own stuff. People in the modding section of the discord tend to be really helpful if you're stuck on anything.
