Modifiy armor with bodyslide help

I'm pretty much stumped i've been trying to add and armor set i downloaded into bodyslide so i can modify the shape. slidemaker is totally confusing and all the tutorials on it are completely useless, i've tried importing the nif files for the armor but slidemaker only shows incomplete pieces, while opening in nifscope the armor shows up complete.

 

would anyone like to help me and the community by showing us how to add an armor set into bodyslide.
