Random Crashes to Desktop

So I have like 80 mods so not a ton but for some reason it randomly crashes now and I can't figure out which mod it is since it wasn't having any problems for the first 8 hours now it randomly crashes no matter where I am or what Im doing. I could switch and gun and it crashes or when saving or loading or start an AAF animation. I can keep loading a save till it eventually works don't know if that is useful information.

 

I googled as much as I could but still get nothing.

I do use Baka Scraphead and that is set to 4 and Ive also tried it on 2. Doesn't seem to do anything.

I don't know if this will help you as i don't know what step you took when installing everything or what manager are you using if any; This worked for me,at leat until now since it hasn't crashed on load since:

Go here https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/articles/3115 , Check installation Part 3 - Archive invalidation; i didn't bother with the manager methods of doing this as vortex wasnt doing it for me so just go for the manual way and make sure the edits are in the file.

I use Vortex it works well for Skyrim but I guess I dont get as much luck when in comes to Fallout 4

Hey, ran your crash log through the autoscan and got this, check it out, if the things before didn't help, do the recomendations in this about settings.

 

Also aparently you have a physics body crash with cbp.dll

 

Buffout page says this:

Quote

cbp.dll (Body Physics Crash) | Having mods that add different kinds of physics or change the female body will usually trigger this one.

Caused by either these mods themselves or a compatibility issue between them and the Classic Holstered Weapons mod.

Solution: Make sure you've installed all patches, that all mods are in the correct order or simply disable Classic Holstered Weapons.

Correct installation procedures, paraphrased from and credit to chew222 for the solutions:
- In Bodyslide, choose CBBE Body (NOT CBBE with Physics and NOT Cherry Hotalings Physics)
- Make sure you have the latest version of CBP. If you keep crashing, try version 0.1.9.
- Download and install armor and clothing mods without physics and batch build.

skeleton.nif | Variation of the issue above. CHW mod specifically does not like custom skeleton meshes which physics or body mods usually modify.
If you get this message without CHW installed, another reason for this crash are usually Unique Player and other similar unique body mods.

Also i recomend you do the only CBBE Body option in bodyslide (to clarify, when building bodies, choose the one that says CBBE only, not the one with physics) and let either these mods to handle the physics in-game:

I personally use OCBPC for CBBE (you'll get the option on download page for CBBE) with MTM Preset for CBBE (The one that doen't have the 3B on the name on download page), both from LL page, not from Nexus.

 

edit: Also be sure to check the thing about mods of armor without physics (You shouldn't have the ones with physics since the mods above will handle that and could conflict with each other and also check the recommendations on clasic holstered weapons from the quote or from the file.)

Did you tried to install this fix?

I remember running into the same issue, and this solved it. Hope to be of help.

If I'm not mistaken the erection fix by silverperv is outdated and most don't include it in their loads, might try removing it to see if the problem lessens or goes away. Also I used to use the fps patches but found them to often cause problems with other mods.

That got rolled up into UAP.  I haven't compared the plugins with the one from the original page, but it's safe to use if installed via the current Ultimate AAF Patch FOMOD.

it is if you use UAP. I know that's what a lot of people are using now as the guide recommends it but I use CBBE and I've been using Indarello's Patch from the start and am kinda partial to it.
