have you ever truly explored around Dimond city's exterior with a jet pack and wondered why there was a diner area with a bed but never been able to really figure out how to make it a there reliably or thought it would be a central area as a player home without being inside diamond city where this is the settlement for you, workshop area covers out to the gate into diamond city and over to the building where you can now go up at .

Sorry I wasn't able to figure out how to remove the one gate worked pretty good for keeping random ferals out.

 

I have also realized that one the brick wall areas have no collisions im going to try fixing that in the next few days

Started playing with this. Really like it.

The gate in front of the dinner on the roof is part of the building/roof structure of the dinner. Clicking on the gate and using disable made the entire thing disappear. Walkway over the gate with the short/low scaffolding is an easy fix.

The transparent yellow build walls would be helpful. Not necessary though

You can hop over the fence behind the settlement workbench and enter Diamond City. Would be cool if you ended up in the upper stands but you're at the main gate. Also the view of the inside of Diamond city flickers in/out and is incomplete with sub ground showing through ( the insubstantial ground underneath what the game terrain is built over ). Maybe some shack walls to block the view and getting into DC?

The biggest issue is water for the settlement. All the vanilla water sources require being placed in water or in dirt.
