Farsh-nuke Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 I don't know how possible this is but Fallout 4 is the first time I have ever actually cared what my character in a game really looked like and the first time my caring about that has had value beyond the main character i.e. You can save your presents and apply them to settlers and followers in game. Surely it's possible to run looksmenu or a program like it, from outside of Fallout 4 so that you can use the character creation engine to design and save presets for use in game on your own character or on NPCs. Failing that what's the best mod to use that will allow the player to use the looks menu to design and save character presets in game. I know that there's nothing to stop me just starting a new game whenever I want to play with the looks menu but I'd vastly prefer a situation where either A. I can reliably and safely use the looks menu in a current and ongoing save file or B. the Looks menu is entirely external from the game as far as user experience. To restart the game whenever I want to play at creating a new character preset feels like rewatching a new hope just to listen to the opening theme. Please tell me if such a program or mod exists.
Farsh-nuke Posted April 30, 2021 Author Posted April 30, 2021 Only just saw this thanks I found this in the nexus and hope to try it out when I'm at a point in the game where I feel safe playing around with this stuff . https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13627
