Modding question: Camera rotation.

Well, thanks.

I also just now too a deeper look at Portrait Editor... and found out those camera positions as options there, lol.

So if I find (or maybe you can help me) the actual files that control PE, I might also deduce other positions as well.

MAYBE, though quite unlikely.

It's so disappointing, lol.

Not that I'd really even NEED this, but I so wanted to have a real 3D control over portraits/bodies, and it's even more annoying because I've seen that you CAN rotate the PE preview in any direction (and also zoom it in/out).

So frustrating, even if stupid.

Sorry, sorry.

LOL!

EDIT...

LOOOOOOL!!!

Just actually looked deeper into the files aaand...

There's [gfx > portraits > cameras > portrait_cameras.txt] that literally has THOSE exact cameras I just saw (and played with) in PE.

And it finally EXPLAINS how those work!

Well, somewhat, at least (like, that the numbers are CYLINDRICAL, for example).

Sure, I won't be able to MOD it on the fly, but I can now tweak any random existing camera view and actually SEE the result.

So why didn't ANYONE realize the same damn thing for DAYS?

Don't tell me I'm a [GENIUS], loool.

Thanks anyways, but it's just WEIRD.

IT WORRRKZZZ!!!
Mwahahaha!!!

I can now actually stage literal 3D body placing (theoretically, camera calculations are still a huge bitch).

This is clearly a new step in the Sex Animations direction, I tell ya!

YAZZZ!!!

When you're happy and you know it, and you really wanna show it - show your VAG!

Took me forever to get the right proportions of numbers, though.

Just edit the following:

camera_head = {
	camera = {
		position = cylindrical{	150 0 0 }

To the following:

camera_head = {
	camera = {
		position = cylindrical{	40 -200 0 }

Aaand you get THIS:

MWAHAHAHA!!!

Enjoy!!!

YEZZZ!!!

(Note that all bodies in the picture are ADULTS, just in case someone wants to be a smartarse.)
