Gaebrial Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 View File I decided to take the plunge and convert the OOO armors and clothing to DMRA BBB. They are all basically retextures of vanilla items anyway, so it was mostly a case of simply copying the relevant mesh from Nephenee's stock conversion and applying the correct texture. Â I did make a few executive decisions, though. Â - The legion/guard armor retextures all use the Imperial Watch meshes. This is partly because I didn't think they looked as good as a DMRA legion armor retex, and partly because that didn't work properly with the armors that include cloaks. The armors look reasonably OK to me, although there is an obvious texture mismatch on the pauldrons (and a less obvious one on the back of the top). Â - The tops from the armors & clothes that are based on the vanilla huntsman outfit (LC03) have become retextures of Thorazine's DMRA conversion of the chain bikini in the Apachii Heroes Store. They just didn't work as retextures of the DMRA version of LC03. Â - The 'unisex' clothing items are no longer unisex. Instead, they are identical to the vanilla items. Â - The 'unfinished' cuirasses are now unfinished in the sense that the breasts aren't covered. Removing the pauldrons (as was the case with the original) just didn't work for some of them. Â The BAIN-ready archive includes versions of the Dragonborne and Draconis cuirasses that use the DMRA version of Justice123's guard cuirass mesh in a separate folder. You need to install the main folder first, though. Â The plugin should be tagged with 'Graphics' and 'NoMerge', and should be loaded after OOO.esp. Â Let me know if I've missed anything. Nepro Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 So it is Great to see these conversions! Are you planning on doing Francesco and FCOM as well?Â
Gaebrial Posted March 22, 2013 Author Posted March 22, 2013 So it is Great to see these conversions! Are you planning on doing Francesco and FCOM as well? I'm not planning on doing Fran's at the moment, no. Â
Nepro Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013  So it is Great to see these conversions! Are you planning on doing Francesco and FCOM as well? I'm not planning on doing Fran's at the moment, no.   Anyway awesome work!  We appreciate you sharing this magnificent piece of work.
Gaebrial Posted March 24, 2013 Author Posted March 24, 2013 It would be nice too see some pics of the conversions in your threads. Indeed it would.  I've added a shot of Captain Renault in the Blades Ceremonial armor. I'll add more as I encounter people wearing OOO items.
panthyr Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 I am relatively new to modding. I modded my very first install of oblivion right after buying it on steam, this year. I choose it over skyrim for the awesome modding community. Am now doing a fresh rebuild. Since I am new, could you tell me, what are the pre-requisites for this and the martigens bbb mod you have made? Also, do these mods work with Lovers PK and plugins? Thanks!

The pre-requesites are the relevant mods - OOO and MMM - and a bashed patch. These replacers should be merged into the bashed patch. Â There should be no incompatibility with Lovers.
DrN Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 I have Neph's complete DMRA replacer installed, any conflicts or overwritten files?
Gaebrial Posted August 11, 2013 Author Posted August 11, 2013 I have Neph's complete DMRA replacer installed, any conflicts or overwritten files? Nope. I have Neph's replacer as well (you may have guessed...). The OOO stuff is in different directories to the vanilla stuff, including the clothing variants.
DrN Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 I should have guessed thanks,a fine addition to my game. Now we need someone to make them breakable lol
xberwolf Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 Hey, its awesome to see someone do this for OOO but is there any chance there is a version of this that does not require MMM? for some reason im having nothing but crash problems and missing textures from mmm. i dont know if this is possible but i was hoping lol
