srmalu Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 i am currently trying to get myself into modding and have created a simple character editor in unity which allows me to play around with body morphs. now i had the idea to try using the existing skyrim mods as a source for assets (of course, only for private purposes and with allowance of the respective mod author). i began to dig into the file structure of beth games and figured out that meshes are stored in .nif files and morphs are stored in .tri files. these file types say nothing to me and i wonder if there is any pipeline to get these files into blender/3ds/whatever and then merge them into one file (the mesh with the morphs applied) so i can export them as an fbx?
