Rapscallion's Sexxxy Card Revamp

Complete copy of the readme, spoiler'd a bit to keep the post shorter: :cool:

DESCRIPTION:
===========================================================================================

Hello and thank you for trying out my complete reworking of the card graphics for this
excellent game! After trying out a few that were posted here on the nexus site, and
finding them shall we say... lacking (no offense), I decided to put up rather than shut up!

I looked through the complaints found on the other decks that are available here and I
think I came up with an extremely elegant solution. First off, we have deck specialization.
Each deck is dedicated to a specific type of woman. Secondly, the numbers and suit markers
are unified across all decks for maximum readability, because after all if you bother
re-skinning your cards you are going to want to play the card games in the game. Finally,
with the addition of the FOMOD installer and 17 decks to choose from, if you get tired of
a deck its easy to change it out for a new one.

This mod, while not pornographic (it gets a little close on the jokers but hey they are
jokers!), features 100% nude women.

While this mod does contain images for the Sierra Madre deck (and the FOMOD will ask you
to make choices for that deck whether you have the DLC or not) if you do not have this
DLC installed it will in no way affect the usability of this Mod. The files presence
in your data folder will also not adversely affect the game in any way. Of course if you
are paranoid, simply do not make any selections for the Sierra Madre deck and it will not
install them.

This also contains clutter files which gives the game examples of each deck for when they
appear in the world (as in when you are NOT playing blackjack or caravan). Files have been
included for all the casinos, as well as the common deck. This includes the Lucky 38 and
the Sierra Madre casinos. Just because in the game proper there is no gambling at the 38,
and you only get one shot at the Sierra Madre casino in Dead Money, and while there, the
dealers do not have random dealing animations, with the rich modding community at large,
you may run into a situation where these files would be needed.

WHAT'S NEW IN v3.0?
===========================================================================================

Version 3.0 features some very cool improvements to your playing experience. First off, the
clutter has been reduced from 1024x1024 to 512x512. Next we have modified how the expansion
decks are implemented in the mod. They can now be activated as a "Caravan-Only" deck. They
all have a starter-deck hidden in locations throughout the wasteland. To that end they have
now been branded (instead of the generic "Vault-Tec" logo the card backs had in v2.3).

The first expansion deck from v2.3, is now the "Mojave Express" deck. This deck features
photographs taken by the women in the photograph, so lots of mirror and extended arm shots.

New with v3.0:

The "Boomer" deck which deck features Anime / Hentai / Ecchi images.

The "Great Khan's" deck which features Vintage / Old / Black & White images from the
1920's through the 1960's.

The "NCR" deck featuring images of hot girls with guns.

The "Legion" deck featuring S & M / Bondage imagery.

All five of these decks can be activated as a "Caravan-Only" deck meaning the cards can
be purchased from vendors and used when you play caravan in ADDITION to the six main-game
decks of cards. The starter decks can be found after a brief scavenger hunt in the
vicinity(s) of whom they are named for. If you need specific location information see the
information listed in the actual installer. Finally, all five decks are now available as
fully configurable options in the installer, complete with clutter, meaning that you can
select one of them to be used as a casino's deck with whichever of the four casino
card-backs you wish to use.

NOTE: Expansion Decks, if installed as standalone, new decks, won't appear in merchants
inventories immediately. You will have to wait for at least 3 days ingame for merchant
inventories to reset. Even then, cards aren't guaranteed to appear, they have same chance
as vanilla cards.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
===========================================================================================

BEFORE INSTALLATION:
If installing the Expansion Decks, make a clean save without the mod before activating the
.fomod. It edits leveled lists so if you decide to uninstall it, you will have to revert to
your clean save without the mod.

Fallout Mod Manager:

Copy the .fomod file into the folder where Fallout Mod Manager/Nexus Mod Manager looks for
New Vegas Mods. This directory is specified when you install the Mod Manager (whichever
you use). If you don't know where it is check the preferences in the Mod Manager (again
whichever you use). Now open the package manager.

Select Rapscallion's Sexxxy Card Revamp v3.0-FOMOD" from the list and hit the "Activate"
button. It will then walk you through each of the six decks and you can select which deck
and card back are used for each one. Preview images for all 17 decks have been included
with this mod to help you make your choices.

UN-INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
===========================================================================================

Launch the Fallout Mod Manager and open the "Package Manager".
Select "Rapscallion's Sexxxy Card Revamp v3.0-FOMOD" from the list.
Click the "Deactivate" button.

If using the Nexus Mod Manager, go into the Mods Tab and select the Mod from the list.
click the "Deactivate" button.

If you installed any of the expansion decks as "Caravan-Only", you will have to revert to
a previous save without the mod. No other way due to the way game handles leveled lists.

KNOWN ISSUES:
===========================================================================================

If you install the expansion decks as "Caravan-Only" decks, their entries will be added to
the master vendor list (via the same way items from the DLC's are added) so it will not
interfere with any mod that modifies the leveled vendor list. However because these
additions are made, precautions have to be taken should you choose to uninstall the mod.

DISCLAIMER:
===========================================================================================

I used other peoples decks to figure out how best to do this, but did not steal anyone's
code or intellectual property in the creation of this mod.

I claim no ownership of any image included in this pack. All were found using
Google Image Search. I also did not design the images used for the back of the cards.
I found them on the web as well and have no idea who to credit ;p If you did, have a heart!
No one is paying for this mod (and if you paid for it get your money back its available for
free on Fallout Nexus) so be flattered that someone is enjoying your work...

...or your body!

CLOSING THOUGHTS:
===========================================================================================

The previews included with this mod are at FULL SIZE, which incidentally, is not how the
.dds files are. For some reason, the game stores these images as a 256x512 sized image,
even though the cards on screen are of the normal ratio for a playing card (which in pixels
is 374x512). When I created the .dds files, I squashed the image so when it is displayed in
the game the full card is shown at the proper ratio (which the game does extremely well).
So rather than use those compressed images, the thumbs are at the proper 374x512 size.

If you run into any errors, files not copying, wrong files copying or any other issues,
please PM me on the nexus. The code for the installation is over 15,000 lines long
(that's what you get when you have 56 files per deck that have to be named properly when
transferred to the Data folder to reflect the user's choices). I am reasonably sure
everything is working but to test every combination in every location where they are seen
would take FOREVER LOL. So if anything isn't working the way it should please do not
hesitate to let me know.

I hope you enjoy OUR little labor of love (little my ass LOL) and if you do so please
comment on AND endorse this mod on the Nexus website. I would also welcome any
constructive criticism provided you not just complain about the selection of women chosen
for the cards. I did my best to be very representative and there should be enough here for
everyone to assemble a more than large enough deck to have your eyes pleased every time
you play!

A special thanks to Gribbleshnibit8 for help teaching me the ways of the mighty
xml fomod installer.

A VERY special thanks to Bastardinho for the creation of the .esp files.

Thanks and Enjoy!

==========================================================================

I'm the second author of this mod, and with Rapscallion's approval, I decided to post it in here on LL, as I know some of you in here might like it, and maybe can't download it from Nexus...

I also thank all the people in here who helped me with my scripting problems by answering all my questions.  :blush:

If you have any questions regarding the mod, please ask them and I'll try to answer them as best as I can...

WARNING: If you want to install the Expansion Decks, first make a clean save! Can't stress this enough, and no matter how many times I write it, someone still complains later his saves have been ruined...
