Raider Overhaul TAGS - AE.esp *Raider Overhaul - AE Patch-Restored Content-VIS.esp *HoloTime.esp ok, that is my current mod list and well my issues are two.. 1. when i get a quest to unlock a settlement, it tells me to go and clear (BLANK) and i do so and then come back to the settlement and for some reason it acts like i never did the quest... 2. when i open my quest channel on my pipboy and scroll down, it freaks out and jumps back to the top and the line that seperates completed quest and non-completed quest dissapears and then reappears the first one i'm working on right now, but any idea's on why these issues are happening, by all means post below... thank you ahead of time for atleast reading
dharvinia Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Is this your first run through of the game? or is it a new start ? I would think that if you have been adding these mods over a period of time, the problem would have shown itself very quickly.
horouboi Posted July 17, 2019 Author Posted July 17, 2019 sadly, its like my 10th attempt to play it, but whenever i get a new mod it usally ends up making me have to restart the game, cause most tend to change the game in a way that installing "mid game" tends to do stuff that brakes the game and well the issue is sim settlements takes like a two hours to do its thing and then i go find my two companion mods (ivy who needs a voucher and heather casdin is far from the start) and after that, i save preston and by the time i have "tested what needs testing" i have tooking 5 hours, now imagine having to do that 10 different times. the 1st issue has been a thing for awhile, but i think i know what might have broke it, a mod i had that named settlers, thing is i'm betting that the game is thinking the settler was named "settler" when i got the quest and now that settler has a real name and so... the game is still looking for "settler" so i uninstalled that mod the second issue is new and i have no idea, basically i go to the "quest" page in my pipboy and when i try to scroll down with my x-box controller i get like 4 down and then it forces me to the top and usally also gets rid of the line that divides the done quests and the active quests... sorry this is so long edit: was going through my mods and found this in the bugs of fallsouls... Quests in the menu upon activating, or deactivating, glitch and change their positions. This bug stops when the option for Pip-boy is set to "off" in the MCM. :D i think that might fix the second issue

To that end, I only install one mod per 3 real life hours of gameplay. If there is a conflict then I know it is the last thing I installed.

dharvinia Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 Yes, I had that same problem, but not because of a mod, but because I went in to CK and changed a name. This had the effect of creating a duplicate character (with different name) with identical quests and traits. When it came time to run the quest chaos ensued. Happy that everything has worked out for you.
