Vault 88 Issue?

Why is vault 88 looking like this upon entering? And does anyone know of a fix? I've tried reinstalling it, and cleaning it to no avail. My load order is in the spoiler below.

The only thing that stuck out to me was scrap everything. It generally should be a lot lower in your load order. Last if possible or as close as you can get it. Beyond that I am not familiar with a lot of the mods you are using.

Occasionally yes. I have ENBoost installed so thankfully it only happens after several hours of gameplay.

LOOT saved the day, and that solved the issue. Thanks so much for the help! I'm trying to get Home Plate finished as a blueprint for when Malia becomes available for download. And my layout requires some posters from the DLC.

In a lot of cases such failures are related to the npc facegens.

if you have a lot mods that edit npcs (even they just put 1 item in the npcs inventory) the game looses the npcs fagegen.

one symtom of that matter is the rusty face look of the npcs.

but it goes deeper.

if you have a lot npcs in the area such as valult 88 ( around the entrance are about 15 ghouls) the game engine tries to proccess the face data of the npcs.

so the game is really busy.

the enggine simply cannot proccess all at the same time.

the soultion is work for you.

 

you need to make a patch for your nps and restore the facegen data again.

get fo4edit

load all your mods and check all mods if they edit any npcs.

overwrite all modded npcs in a new file

then open that file in the ck. mark all of the etited nps ther and press ctrl +f4.

and do dot save that file in the ck!!!!!!!

 

playing highly modded betheda games is a work for the user :(

Right on, glad to help. Its funny you mentioned Malia. Ive been following it also but have a massive building spree on the go right now also and didn't want to start over. Then I seen that transfer settlement. I'll be trying it out. Have a good one.

 

Other good thing to practice is having a couple of dummy games. Never introduce a new mod no matter how big or how small into a important save. Always use a dummy game to test them and make sure theyre not going to wreck your game.

 

Its funny cause Loot has been working perfect for me also. A lot of people say don't use it, it doesn't work, but it clearly does. I guess it might just be hit and miss for some people.

I always clear the metadata before doing anything like that. And transfer settlements will always have a spot in my load order. I do not want to have to spend 6 hours patching Sanctuary's roofs with every playthrough.
