OSA ctd (crash) Skyrim SE

Hello everyone,

 

This is my first post. If i'm breaking any guidelines or rules, please feel free to notify me.

I have a problem with the mod OSA for Skyrim SE. If I load a save file or start a new game, the game ctd's after 1-2 seconds.

I checked all my mods and everything is up to date (skse, mfg fix, Osex, sexlab, fnis, XPMSE).

 

Could someone help me? All answers are appreciated!

Try this, as strange as it sounds.. 

 

Load your save game as normal.. then at the console type: player.kill

 

This will cause your save to reload, then... try saving the game and playing.. see if you can induce the crash again.

 

player.kill can basically flush bad data on the player actor is the reason why this can work.

Do you mean with or without OSA? If OSA is disabled, the game runs as normal, but when I enable it, the game shuts-down on a new/save game after 1-2 seconds.

You could try disabling some animation pack, while going by what I read the normal result of having too many animations is that the game simply won't start, I suppose it's possible that OSA just brings you to the limit.

Make sure that you have the FNIS XXL version.

Even if you have or download the FNIS XXL which should support up to 20000 animations, mostly it doesn't, you have to disable some packs, there is no other way around it.

I tried it, it did not work unfortunately. I tried to start a new game and it crashed.

You have mixed up SexLab with SexLab light, disable SexLab light items, also turn facelight off, it causes often crash

- Yes I have FNIS XXL version 7.4.5
- I installed https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17230?tab=description
- I disabled sexlab light and kept sexlab framework v162 full.

- I disabled facelight.

when I run FNIS I get 2 errors.

You have installed Sexlab for Oldrim, not the one for SSE here: 

 

Also, FNIS reads the animations, so even if you disable the esp/esm FNIS counts them. They won't be used in-game without the mod activated though, unless they are replacements for animations.

My game crashed at too because OSA but I think I know the problem. If a OSA Animation is running and change the location the game CTD. If you try to relaod the Autosave it will CTD again after 1-2 sec. Try to load a Savegame befor the animations started and it should load.
