Need Help Creating TS4 Script Mods

With the new update coming out, I decided to try my hand at TS4 script modding but have sort of run into a few roadblocks. I have some experience modding for other games but they have all had extremely succinct tutorials. I've found a few for TS4 but they all seem to assume prior knowledge and almost always be outdated. From what I scraped together, in order to implement custom scripts I need to inject my own methods into preexisting ones using the wraps decorators but that is as far as I have gotten. Any help is appreciated.
