Dead Rimworld mod revival.

Hi all. Does anyone know of a place where you can go to beg the revival of dead Rimworld mods? I went away in B18 and came back to find my favourite mod https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1128356018&tscn=1544461504 has stopped being updated as the author no longer has time to maintain it. Yeah, it's a super cheat mod that takes away the challenge but I like it. The weapons are pretty cool as well. I'm guessing that this is a no go but thought I'd ask. Thanks all.
