Rapid Fire Spells!!!

I feel that magic is kind of dull in Skyrim, but then when my companion Ceri in one battle used Ice Spear on both hand to rapidly shoot out Ice Spear on enemies running away, I was like "Why can't I do it?"

 

Anyway, really need more spell from different element to shoot of rapidly like guns. I want spell to be more action-based to improve this aspect of the game.
