Hello LL! First of all I'm a big fan of all the work you guys have done here.

I've been lurking this forum a lot and as a developer I'll try to return enjoyment to this community.

I have quite a few questions about setting up my mod development enviroment for TS4 so what I would like to know if is there any Discord server were I can ask questions to mod developers or if anyone know of an updated guide as a starting point.

Thank you very much!

Hello, wololol!

I'd highly recommend installing and playing around with Sims 4 Studio first (http://sims4studio.com/ - requires registering on the site, but it is free). It is probably the most used modding tool for the game and it is very easy to use. Their forums also have a ton of tutorials (http://sims4studio.com/thread/662/index-studio-tutorials-online-manual), although I haven't read or watched many. Another very helpful tool is Sims 4 CAS Tools which can be used to clone the .package files. Apart from that I use Blender for mesh editing, posing and animating and GIMP for texture editing.

Happy simming!

Thank you for replying!

I should've been more especific about what type of mod I wanted to do. I want a "gameplay mod" if that is how it's called. So I'm looking for some documentation on commands and tuning. Anyway I will still use this tools you gave me eventually, so thank you!

You're welcome!

Note that you can still use S4Studio to extract the tuning to do at least some basic behaviour modifications (although programming anything more complex using their XML seems pretty convoluted to me), although I personally have not done much in that area and have not looked for the related documentation. Good luck!
