Gates inside castle Dawnguard are shut and won't open for anything

So I went to recruit those two people that Isran asked me to and returned to the castle. Once I went inside, the three gates in the main chamber closed up. He was checking to make sure we weren't vampires or whatever it was, and after he was done, he told me to come talk to him. But the gates didn't open back up. And there's no switch, no lever, no anything to open them up, not that I could find. I would just noclip through the gates, but of course the other two characters I recruited are stuck as well.

 

What the hell is going on here?

Never mind, it's working now for some reason.

 

God I hate this game.
