Misc – Rules and Content Guidelines

There is no need to worry about the production quality of your work. We would never delete any content just because it is of poor quality. We only delete content if (1) it is not posted in the proper section of the club menu, or (2) it contains content that is not allowed based on the criteria provided below. In the case of the former, we will of course notify you ahead of time so that you have time to save and/or transfer your work. As such, the bar for what is allowed is high and quite flexible.

・Political and religious discussion is generally not allowed on the LoversLab forums, but because we are dealing with works of fiction, you are of course allowed to deal with politics and religion in your works.

・Bestiality/zoophilia is not frowned upon within the LoversLab community. It is allowed as long as it comes in the form of erotica or 2D/3D imagery, not IRL bestiality. That being said, there are still a few souls who are squeamish about it, so we still encourage you to tag your work if it contains it.

・Many people are deeply offended by Defecation, Guro, and Vomiting, but we will not remove your work for containing one or more of these themes as long as you tag your work with appropriate tags and do not include these themes in the poster/cover-art for your work.

・Peeing/pissing is not frowned upon, but we still encourage you to tag your work if it contains it, just in case.

・We have very strict guidelines on how you are allowed to deal with underage characters in your works:

• Most importantly, you are not allowed to depict or describe sex or self-pleasuring acts if any party involved in the act is underage. As such, any scene that depicts or describes an underage character masturbating, performing a sexual act, or being sexually assaulted is totally prohibited.
• You are only allowed to feature naked underage characters in a scene if the scene is not visually depicted and is strictly non-sexual in nature. Naturally, you are not allowed to describe their genitalia or any other potentially sexual area of their bodies, such as the anus, nipples or buttocks. There are many types of non-sexual scenes involving minors that could not be featured in any way if not for this leeway. Most notably, showering and bathing scenes where people are simply talking to each other, but other scenes too.
• Scenes in which children happen upon adults engaged in sexual acts are generally okay as long as the children themselves are not depicted in any sort of sexual manner.
• Characters are allowed to mention or hint that pedophilia or underage sex/masturbation is happening off-screen, and are also allowed to hold meaningful discussions about topics like pedophilia as long as they do not go into graphic detail or mention/describe sexual acts in an explicit manner.
• Lolicon is not allowed even if it is said to depict adults. If you guys feel differently, feel free to voice your opinion on the matter.
  • There are obviously differences in opinion as to what counts as underage depending on the laws in any given country, but when I say underage in these guidelines, I am referring to people below the age of 18, and this is the standard that we expect anyone uploading works to this club to conform to.
  • Excuse the long read, but when we are dealing with a touchy subject like this, the guidelines have to be really specific down to the smallest minute detail so as to not allow any room for confusion.

We expect members to report any user who uploads works that break these guidelines and to alert the club leadership so that the content in question can be removed as swiftly as possible.
