Two Issues, Kindly requesting help. 1: Stretching Boobs when switching Skeletons 2: Khaijit/Orc Texture Issues (HGEC (non eve) + Hi Rez patch)

Good evening,

So this evening, I've been working on modding Oblivion. Please Note: I have made several backups at several stages, and I can revert to any one of them if need be. However, that would be a pain in my ass, so I'd rather not have to. But I can, especially if it's simpler to do so and just reinstall mods.

Right now I have succeeded in making everything work as I want, and I was ready to install Lovers with PK. I hit a wall when it came to skeletons, and while I'm here, an issue with skins.

I have looked everywhere and couldn't find the reason for this, seems to be a problem many people have. So I'm coming here and making a cry for help!

I have two issues. Stretching Boobs and Texture issues.

I have attached the relevant files to this post.

I use OBMM.

____Issue #1 Stretching boobs____

See attached file 2 (crouching Khajit) for my problem #1: The stretching boobs.

In the instruction, it says I need "Growlf's Universal Skeleton Nif". However, BBB mods made me downloadd Coronerra's skeleton. In particular, I wanted a C Cup BBB. http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/33632/?

I don't want ridiculously big boobs and that mod requires Coronerra, and I didn't find a mod that gives BBB on C cups for HGCE compatible with Growlf's Universa Nif Skeleton.

Does such a mod exists?

In addition, I used these BBB animation mods to see the jiggle:

Stylish Jump: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/20459/?

Woman's move: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/33998/?

So my reflex was to I deactivate all that jazz and activate Growlf's Universal skeleton. See attached file 1 (crounching Khaijit) for the boob issue.

It affects all females, of course, but sometimes only Khaijit, and all of them later on while I was taking screenshots for this post, depends on what is turned off or on. I pretty much know what causes it, I don't know how to fix it.

Basically, I need to get

  1. Growlf's skeleton working without stretching boobs
  2. BBB HGCE C Cups boobs compatible with Growlf's Skeleton. IF the one I'm currently using that says it requires Coronerra's could work with Growlf's too, that would be perfect.
  3. NoMaam animations (as it,s compatible with growlf)

I'd like to get Stylish Jump, Woman's move, if possible, and compatible, unless NoMaam covers those bases! If NoMaam does the jump and the walk, then no need for these two.

But... whenever I try to switch skeletons, the titties start stretching... so what should I do?

___________#2 Texture issues_______________

So, for my textures for my bodies. I'm not sure if this is even fixable, but oh well let's see. There are three issues, although two are straightforward.

I have this setup, and it works, I did it as instructed, looked up online to make sure I got it right, and I understand the logic behind it (well, it mostly works):

  1. HGEC (not the Eve version), this http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/15802/?
  2. Robert's Male Bodies http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/40532/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Foblivion%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D40532&pUp=1
  3. Oblivion Char Overhaul 2.0.3: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/44676/?
  4. ....and its compatibilities patches which apply regular textures, from the same nexus page
  5. Hi rez for HGEC http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/20022/? overwriting the regular textures when installing last, so you see the Hi Rez textures instead of low rez pushed by compatibility patches

Says "Don't activate the MaleBodyV5.esp" and as you can see I deactivated it.

So the issues that remains:

Female Khaijit: The Hi Rez mod has no Khaijit Support. What to get for Hi Rez Female Khaijit Skin, for HGCE?

Female Orc: brigh green body skin color too different from Dark Green/gray-ish head skin texture. Is this working as intended?

Males: Khaijit looks like he got human skin sewed over his skin. Is there a fix for that?

Please view screenshots for references

====================

Could I kindly request some help in regard to fixing this? Remember, I can revert to several stages of mod implementation, but I'd rather not have to, but if I must, I will.

Thank you for taking the time to read my requests.

I will return tomorrow if you have questions or need more details.

Skeleton has nothing to do with breast size and everything to do with supplying data that clothing requires.

Yes, Growlf's is compatible with Coronerra's. It was based on it.

If you're planning to use Lovers, use the LAPF skeleton instead of Growlf's. If you're not, you can probably stick with Growlf's (unless you're planning on using some clothing that relies on the new bones).

NoMaaM covers all animations, but it is very much a vanilla replacer. If you want stylish or whatever animations, you can overwrite it. Nothing should break (given that you use the correct skeleton).

Just remember that unless you're using something to give your player character unique animations, all actors (of either gender) will be using the same animations.

And please, do yourself a favor and replace that OBMM with TESMM; it's literally just the continued version, and it's faster and performs all of the same functions with the same UI.

I'm going to start from scratch it will take less time.

The install guide for LAPF says I need to get "Growlf Skeleton"

That said, I do understand that they are one and the same, except that LAPF has the Penis bone.

So, I install LAPF straight up instead of Growlf, then continue as instructed? This is what seems to be instructed.

http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/354-lapf/

2. Growlf's Universal skeleton: http://oblivion.nexu...om/mods/37596/?
(NOTE: You will be overwritting a portion of this when you install LAPF so don't panic.)

For my orc face texture issue, I found the solution, apply the Hi Rez Face Texture just after the Hi Rez Body Texture. It was a mismatch.

Only things to fix now is the male Khaijit that looks like it's been skinned alive, and installing so the boobs don't stretch, and finding a Hi Rez Khajit body texture.

Males: Khaijit looks like he got human skin sewed over his skin. Is there a fix for that?

Based on memory and having this experience years ago, this can occur two ways. When a texture resource specified in the NIF file is calling one resource and the ESM or ESP is calling another, OR either the NIF or ESM/ESP is specifying a texture resource and it is not in the specified location, or one Oblivion depends on; vanilla locations typically. Oblivion then defaults to using the Imperial resources, which is most annoying. (I think the developers hard coded this default in.)

As for frequently starting over, I find free cloning software a huge help here, especially if you have one drive or partition setup just for Oblivion. Reverting back to a prior drive image then becomes a breeze and handful of mouse clicks.

I use a modified LAPF skeleton, so not much help there. I do use a combination of the animations similar to what you are you're after and it all works without issues, for the most part.

I managed to fix the Human Khaijit Texture by applying a Hi Rez Khaijit-only Texture mod, as the Hi Rex texture pack I use for the other races does not contain Khajit.

I still have issues with the Orc Skin mismatching the head skin though, and that is despite the Hi Rez Skin. Can probably fix it by applying a standalone orc-only skin. The skins work for all the races and sexes except orc female.

I am now at the stage to reinstall Lovers with PK. Starting with LAPF for the skeleton, then BBB mods + animations, then Lovers Plugins, if I understood correctly.

Honestly, setting up cloning software is a very good idea. However, to me, it would be a waste of time. I'll spend about 10 hours tweaking this then I'll be done. It's probably possible to just copy the Oblivion folder to an external HDD then copy it back if I ever have to reinstall windows. We'll cross that bridge when we arrive there.

I got stumped a bit at the BBB install. I have installed LAPF, which contains the skeleton, and No M'aam. I'm still lacking a BBB mod that is compatible with LAPF skeleton.

The above mod works.

Khaijit texture fixed for Male & Female.

Stylish jump works,

No m'aam works,

LAPF works,

I'm ready to install the plugins for LAPF!

And fix the orc skin issues.

All HGEC BBB bodies are compatible with LAPF skeleton . Growlf's , Coronerra's and LAPF  are almost identical. You can use all with BBB breasts, but you can only use LAPF skeleton with Lovers set animations ( only LAPF skeleton have butt bones and penis bones )

More about BBB, stretching,,,and other tips. Read my yellow Link below.

Thanks Fejeena. I read a few of your posts there and there when troubleshooting, really helpful. Thank you for confirming - I did exactly as you said, just, before I read your post. Still, I wasn't too sure if I got it right, so I appreciate the confirmation.

That said, the HGEC BBB body I used before didn't seem to be compatible with LAPF, there was no animations, animations appeared when I used another one. Regardless, this is fixed and it looks better, so it doesn't really matter, let's not bother with this anymore.

My only issue left is the orc head & body mismatch, refer to to screenshot in first post to see. I believe I need a matching body texture. What can I use?

EDIT: Great! Penis Stretching! Thank god for your yellow post! Skeletons got overwritten somehow. Will reinstall LAPF so the correct skeleton shows up.

Ok... so I install LAPF but the skeleton doesn't get installed...? I still have a 75kb skeleton, but it should have a 96kb skeleton?

I install LAPF through TESMM like every other mod. In your yellow post it says that stretching = wrong skeleton.

So I reinstalled LAPF and the skeleton got overwritten correctly, now has the 96kb skeleton and no more stretching!

The Orc.

? different colored body and head textures.

My orc textures, Roberts male and  HGEC female

orc.7z

Males and females share the same head texture. Yes that's a problem to find Roberts male and HGEC female body textures  with same color so that both look good with the head texture.

Paste the orc folder in your data\textures\characters\   folder.  ( backup your files first if you don't like my textures )

For Orc's I like Ploms' Oblivion Character Replacer, the older stand-alone version (non-blockhead). If you want better looking Orcs...

Then I went into CS/E and modified them a bit more so the head and body textures match up a bit more. CS or CS/E is okay for that, good but not great. For all other vanilla head & body textures I use Ozmo's Hi-rez sets. Not recommended on low-end or even some mid-range PCs, or if your going with a setup with MODs that are script heavy.

And yeah, making occasional to frequent simple backups of Oblivion is IMO better than nothing at all; saves time having to complete re-installs. I moved to cloning as I did a lot of frequent modding of my builds for awhile and need something more advanced than just backups.
