x117 race mod questions

[Question]

Im using the lop eared mini elf race (closest thing to a loli i could find, the mod was full of weird races) with HGEC. Couple of questions :

 

-My character is a vampire, but face is wrinkled at 25% vampirism and the eyes are some strange white/blue color (i thought vanilla vampire eyes were red?). Is this normal?

 

-Are there any clothing packs compatible with x117? The screenshots on tesnexus show a lot of dresses, but they definatley dont come with the mod.

 

-Armor all uses default breast size...are there any AA or A cup clothing mods out there? Chainmail in particular looks really weird.

http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15697- try this for the vampire face problem. Oblivion vampire eyes are that silver blue color if you want to change that there are some mods out there or you could use Construction Set to change what eyes are used for vampires.

Tiritana did a good job gathering most every armor and clothes for loli races. the vanilla compilation link she has should fix your vanilla armor issue but remember it changes all armor so other females will be wearing AA cups now too =)

I tried downloading some of the mods from that rapunel blog and ran into bad gateway errors .

 

Anyone else have them and can upload it to tesnexus?

 

Edit : Okay i installed the carmine dress mod. Looks great. Problem : It occupies three equipment slots....i managed to edit it so it occupies only one slot, but the problem is that greaves/hands clip into the dress when i equip them. Is there any way to "Hide" the graves/hands?

 

Also does anyone know just where tona's mod shop is?

About the clipping problem:

You would have to delete the hands and legs from the Carmine outfit so these meshes don't overlay your body meshes.

Originally, the hand and leg meshes included in these clothing items would have replaced your respective body parts.

But if tweaked in the CS to occupy the upperbody slot (the upperbody doesn't seem to clip from your description, it gets properly replaced with the upperbody in the Carmine dress), you don't wear only the clothes but also a second set of legs and hands.

 

It's done in NifSkope, the all-purpose Nif manipulation software.

If you don't have it yet, download it from here: http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/NifSkope

Open the Nif file(s) containing the body part(s) you want to get rid of and right-click on the legs mesh/hands mesh.

In the context menu that appears, select 'Block' > 'Remove Branch'. Once they are gone, just save the file and you're done.

Don't worry about messing up any files, as long as you have the original archive's meshes as a backup, you can always revert them by copying back the files from that archive to your game folder.

Tona's shop is great. I'd also suggest checking out FLY's stuff on Nexus. Most of the outfits are pretty stylish, IMO, and a lot of them are built with A or B cups.

I wouldn't know, they insta-banned me, reducing their fabled strike system to absurdity. Ironically, they deleted that horrible picture from my imageshare section, but it and three others featuring the same character are still online in the user pictures section of the FLY mod in question (bottom row): http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=40491

 

In three month of active membership, I posted 187 pictures in my own imageshare section and many others as 'Thank You' pics for mods.

The image that got me banned was one of the first I submitted. For three months, it remained undetected by the 'hounds of the Dark One'...

Speaking of Nora: I saw that C-cup version of the 'King of Worms Robe' when it got uploaded, but I decided not to upgrade the cup size and to keep the smaller bust size for my Nora character, I love her as a 'flatty'. It suits the girl just fine as she has a tomboyish cheeky personality.

Just visited the Obnoxus. Since my ban, my old username was still in the login bar at the top. It's gone now, upon clicking on the 'login' button, I got the message "You have been logged in successfully". What gives? The first file I clicked was blocked for adult-only content, so it was a rather short-lived success and no login at all.

Silly thing is, I enquired about the ban, the reply I got was :

Left nipple clearly visible above the belt.

 

Oh i have a copy of it, and it is clearly visible. well half of the nipple.

 

The problem with having a child in revealing clothing, even palliated is against the law, distribution of it or uploading it to the net is against the law.

 

So why they're still distributing it is beyond me. Also never got an answer to my other comments:

Age of the character was irrelevant, nudity on imageshare is forbidden either way. Calling someone a pedophile over this is highly unreasonable (like calling any Oblivion gamer a murderer because they kill all those poor pixels).

 

Then again, as a moderator you can get away with breaking the rules, calling people hypocryte, pathetic, idiot, pedophile and whatever else you can think of. Creates a nice image for the site as well. Strangely though, when someone asks about that over there, everyone who replies is oh so happy with the atmosphere, you never hear anyone complain. Wonder why that would be...

When I - like EvenstarGW - reasoned this 'rule-breaking' clothing mod is freely distributed on their very own network, the reply was something along the lines of "this doesn't save users from getting banned, the mod in question should have been reported instead of making images with it and uploading them here". Yeah, I should have reported Yuravica to get him banned instead of him being able to publish great clothing and armor replacers from which the whole community profits and for which I thanked him by submitting four user pics as soon as a new mod came out. That's what moderators expect from you on their site - hurting the community by denouncing modders!

 

A good friend of mine even got banned as well - for just mentioning I have ever existed/was a member of the site for a short time!

No trolling involved, he just expressed discomfort about my ban. They arbitrarily called it 'arguing with the moderators'...

I dont know why loli nudity mods arent allowed on the nexus. There is no law in the US against pictures of naked fictional children, just like how there is no law against movies being made of fictional US soldiers being killed by fictional aliens.

 

Anyway, right now ive got a major problem :

 

I uninstalled and reinstalled oblivion. I switched to the omod version of x117(http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=3812), which includes MBP. Now oblivion instantly CTDs with no error messages when i start the game...ive found out that if i disable the lop eared .esps from the omod, the game runs.

 

Any idea why the omod's lop eared .esps are causing the game to crash?

 

Also after the reinstall, game companion no longer works (it lets you run in a fake full screen mod). I have game companion in the system tray, but the game simply does not recognize it (no full screen, game companion hotkeys dont work, intro movie plays, etc).

 

Edit : It looks like its just lop eared elf mini.esp that is causing the CTD...

In cyb3r's very firts post of that thread he states the following:

This is weird, because I have no single Lop-Ear Elf esp installed. In the manual install of MBP++ (that I downloaded from the Obnoxus), they're part of the x117race.esm and its respective esp. This is the file I'm using: http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=37377

I don't understand why there's a difference between the contents of this archive and cyb3r's OMOD.

 

With all the crap I have installed, it's no wonder I'm crashing all the time after 2 - 3 loading screens, especially after passing through doors or using a Midas astral portal. Though I'm always planning to work on my load order or weeding out unnecessary stuff, I never actually do it.

Making pictures keeps me getting distracted from fixing the crashes...Wish I could help you, but I haven't got a clue about these race issues.

This includes also tweaked settings, fixes for common problems and game-enhancing options. It can easily be used in tandem with OBMM and also serves as a sorting software for better load orders. You can even manage savegames and screenshots with it!

 

Not that easy to install as you need the 'Python' software specific to your system as a prerequisite, as well as learning about handling Bash's many functions, it is an ingenious and indispensable tool and supplement for Oblivion modding.

But i want the hand and legs from the carmine outfit. What i want is for the hand/leg items i wear to not show up on my character model.

 

I can do that quite easily by, just removing the meshes of a particular hand/leg item in the CS, but is there a way to do it to all items without removing the meshes? So i can just wear the carmine outfit, then wear anything i want without it appearing on my character model.
