A quick disclaimer... I am just one man, with one opinion. Just because I alone says something doesn't mean others will agree with me. So don't freak out when with just my comments, good or bad.

  • Game has polish and personality. This doesn't feel like your standard RPG maker game. That is a GOOD thing!
  • I like that sound effects you use. A nice touch.
  • Rebecca looks ok. She looks young but out of high school young. Body is exaggerated, but not so much that I roll my eyes. Only things that bothers me really is that her eyes are TOO big.
  • I like that fact Rebecca feels over her head but not 100% completely naive and innocent. Most of these game try that innocent route and fail because it is hard to write a realistic enough story for that overused trope. Like when the photographer offered a ton of money for modeling, she wasn't shocked when she learned it was nude. Felt real enough so far to keep immersion.
  • Not sure how I like the actual time flow mechanic...
  • Looks like she had a girlfriend before... ok interesting.
  • Dog quest... couldn't figure out how to progress it but whatever. Gives the game personality.
  • Demo ends Day 2...
  • So the hook is the nude photography. It was a decent scene. Your style held my attention, I am curious for more.
  • We really didn't get the look at other women, but my suggestion is don't get stuck on one body size. Look at porn, there are skinny bitches, there are Tall bitches with fake knockers, there are BBW, but the point is there are many sizes and viewing them makes a game feel more immersive.

Edit in -> Personally I would not touch real porn stars. If you can't make them look enough like them it will detract from the game and distract people.

Overall this is a short demo but good. It has a simple story but that probably is a good thing because complicated tales often go off the wheels and and lose immersion. A very good start.

You have my attention. There looks to be a pretty good foundation getting laid here. My only real complaint is the pace of everything is infuriating, the walk speed, the text speed, all annoyingly slow. There's no real reason for the text to pop up piecemeal as i hit enter, just make it all type out at once.

When I was playtesting the game, I also noticed that there was too much dialogue. One thing that you can do (and I should make it very explicit) is that the dialogues will go pretty much faster if you hold Page Down on your keyboard. In cutscenes, if you feel like people are moving slowly, you can hold Enter. Oh, and of course, to make Becca run, just hold Shift (or check "Always Dash" in the game's options). Thanks for your feedback, teremaster.

What a great feedback, XJ347. Thank you very much for that. I'll focus on your complaints, but keep in mind that I'm very grateful for your words. :)

First, about Becca's eyes, I won't deny. They're huge! That was to achieve something just like anime does: more expressive characters. I'm not very attached to realism (as you can see by the talking dog), but of course, if it bothers other people, I don't want to be the exception. If lots of people think it's a bad thing, I'll definitely make them smaller.

About the time mechanic, I understand. I was thinking about a mechanic just like The Witcher's "Meditation", that you can skip some time. I'm keeping it because I have some quests that could only work at night time, for example.

The Girl's Best Friend quest (the dog one) will advance with each version of the game but don't worry, I already have it completely in mind.

For other body styles, I'll keep that in mind. It really bothers me when games make exactly the same woman but with different heads. And finally, about pornstars, they'll be... lets say, "counterparts" of real life pornstars. It will be just a bonus for people who are familiar with the adult entertainment industry. They won't share real names with their counterparts, just similar body and behavior aspects. Elisa Lan, for example, is a 45yo milf with big lips, big boobs and a very sassy behavior.

Again, thanks a lot for your feedback!

Hey, everyone! As promised, here's the latest version of Risqué Vice: 0.1.3. You can check the full changelog at the link in the end of this post, but here I'd like to highlight some of the major things that were added, changed and fixed in the game.

01. A More Fast-Paced Experience
Many players complained about the speed of the cutscenes. While I was playtesting it, I saw the same scenes lots of times, what caused me the feeling that it was fast enough. Another reason for the slow-paced dialogues is the amount of handicraft pauses to capture better the "feeling" of the dialogues.
Bulshit! Many players just want to have some fun in a short amount of time. :D To please both styles of players, there's a new Option in the Options Menu: "Quick Text". When it's on, each message is filled automatically and you don't have to wait until each sentence is written.

02. Vocal Reactions
You can often listen how Rebecca reacts when she's happy, surprised, angry, etc. It doesn't mean that the game will feature full voice-acting. For a while, Becca only says ~100 words, but in the next version, there will be more (and more character will have Vocal Reactions too!).

03. More Missions
In 0.1.3, we're finishing the second mission and starting the third one. But there's also one complete side-mission ('I Touch Myself') and the start of two other ones ('Sun-Tan' and 'Down the Road, Not Across the Street'). Both of them will be complete in the next update.

04. The PC
One big thing in 0.1.3 is the new "PC" feature. You get access to it in the second story-mission, but it will be available through the whole game. In the next versions, I'll be working to add mini-games. Depending on your score on them, the player will receive rare blueprints that can be taken to the artisan! :)
Not only that, but it will be a social HUB for characters and will help Becca to keep track of her achievements, both social and professional.
The XMovies background is a placeholder, don't worry. :D The PC will play a big role in the game.

05. The Bike
Thinking about how to make the game quicker (if the player wants so), I was thinking about the Bike mechanics. If you manage to buy the bike in 0.1.3, you can press "B" and Becca will ride her bike. I still need to mess with the character's speed code to properly add acceleration and so, but if you want to see Becca riding a bike, go for it! :P

06. New Collectables
While taking a stroll at La Gloria or Valentino, keep your eyes looking at the ground. You may find cash, blueprints, and materials, now. Oh, and a key-item for a side-mission will be on the ground! ;)

07. Fixes
Most of the previous version's bugs were fixed, such as spelling mistakes, weird acting NPCs, wrong tiles positioning, etc.

Patrons,
thank you very much. We're still only a few, but keep in mind that you're all responsible for the start of this project. Without you, the past week would've been much more stressful, harder and we wouldn't be achieved the amount of new content that we did.
Please, feel free to send me messages on Patreon if you have anything to say about the game, or even just to say "hi". At the end of each monthly cycle, I'll make a post explaining exactly where your money is going. I owe you that.

About the Future
With Risqué Vice, I'm doing my best to create a fun game with a creative world, interesting gameplay, natural dialogues and inspiring quests, but I also want to make it ~sexy~. It's an adult game, after all.
Until 0.2.0, I'll keep the focus on the game's basis. I want to make a solid experience, unlike many adult RPG Maker games we see around. I appreciate the support of you all, Patrons, GameJolt community and people who comment our topics in many forums. Because of this, I'd like to share with you my plans for the future:

Before version 0.2.0 there are some things that will certainly be done:
1. Rebecca's design will be 100% complete. Her design will be more realistic, but her physical attributes will keep the same. I'll be making tests and asking for your help to decide which visual is the best for our protagonist.
2. The three first towns will be working perfectly. No more doors saying "come back in the next version". There will be people, cars, stores, houses, collectibles. Everything will be there.
3. I have the whole Risqué Vice story written in ~100 pages. I'm methodical, perfectionist and I love to write, so I have lots of Side-Missions in mind. You can expect a very dynamic gameplay with puzzles, action sections, and even stealth ones!
4. The current major characters (Connor, Mr. Formaggio, Goth Girl, Trisha...) will all have Vocal Reactions.
5. Most of the NPCs (at least the main ones and the ones who are responsible for Side-Missions) will have Bust Images.
6. At least a couple of minigames on the PC.

What will define the release of 0.2.0?
> Before that, I have to finish the list above. Then I'll work on the Risqué Vice Mechanic. Again, I don't want to spoil any surprises, but that's when sex will have a major role in the game. That's where you'll use your bought/crafted items such as decorations, clothes (and even characters). Oh, and of course, that's where many of the sex scenes will happen.

Again, thank you very much for your support, don't hesitate to ask for help or share your opinions. I'll do my best to answer them all.
One very important thing that some people asked me about is about the game's price.
The game will happen and will always be free. Patrons help me a LOT to speed up the process, but even though we have only a few, yet: the game will definitely happen.
Please, have fun! :)
