INTRODUCTION

First of all, greetings. A friend of mine called YummyTiger told me about this forum and then I saw some posts asking why weren't we here, so yeah, the answer is as some people guessed, we didn't know it existed. So yeah I created this thread to present our first game, Fleeting Iris.

Fleeting Iris is the first out of 5 games planned by our circle (Heaven Studios) that takes place in a universe called Alansya, the general idea is that all the games that happen in this universe are connected, and most happen at the same time which will provide for funny scenarios and cameos between all the main characters.

Fleeting Iris is a story that mainly revolves around Netorare but it would be wrong to simply call it a NTR game because the scope is so much bigger, it involves cheating, deceiving, romance, murder, exhibitionism, blackmail, inseki/insest, corruption, multiple costumes and many, many other fetishes in a story with a very rich plot and plot twists.

This game is to be followed by a game where two CIA super agents try to dismantle a network of slavery, drugs and human traffic after following some tips that lead to Heaven City's university as the main channel to traffic their drugs. At the same time in another game, a student will find a very old looking book in the very same university and she will begin playing with black magic which leads to the final game where the undead will walk the earth, one where the city is absolutely destroyed and chaos has taken control, your goal is to escape into the last safe colony in the area, and re-unite with the other MC's for one final game.

If you want to know more about our circle and our game, there is a huge extensive explanation in our Patreon page which is https://www.patreon.com/heavenstudios,'>https://www.patreon.com/heavenstudios, feel free to message us here or there with any questions! We will be happy to answer them.

As usual, if you see any bugs please report, it's deeply appreciated. Constructive criticism is appreciated as well.

I'll update this post with a F.A.Q. as we go.

FAQ

Q: Game crashes at start.
A: Please create an exception or temporarily deactivate your anti-virus.

Q: I get lost easily.
A: There's a map in the game folder called DemoMap.png which is MOSTLY updated.

Q: Where can I learn more or get the latest version?
A: https://www.patreon.com/heavenstudios

Q: Is there a Walkthrough?
A: We're working on one, the last patch had us change a HUGE portion of the game to include weekends and as such, the walkthrough suffered from it.

Q: You guys already make X money, why would I pledge?
A: Good question. When I was young I couldn't buy games, and my parents couldn't afford them either, so... I had to resort to piracy, but for the past 11 or so years I've purchased over one thousand games, easily, between PS2, PS4 and just overall computer games (mostly on steam platform), getting the game is only 50% of it for me, 20% would be availability and insurance for the game, and 30% knowing that I'm supporting a softwarehouse that I love and I want to continue making games, hell, Square hasn't released a decent Final Fantasy since X in my opinion, and I've bought 5 of them since, knowing very well I wouldn't enjoy them, but I bought them regardless, some in multiple platforms. It's about supporting something you love, and insuring it's continuity, and because we're REALLY good and we're worth it, so, even if it's 10$ a month, reach into your pockets and join the team!

I already played this game a bit before it was posted here
It's looking quite good, but unfortunately the game seems to end once you completed a story arch and it doesn't seem to continue afterwards (save games doesn't load)
I hope that get's changed in the future versions :)

If you keep a few strategic saves you can interchange quite a bit, for instance, most of Melvins / Garcias / 7-11 is interchangeable, so in a save you'll be able to do most of the three routes. I suggest that you make a new save every Hentai Scene, you can store quite a few! I think it's 99 or 100.

I used to be a supporter, I rather liked the artwork and story lines but the lack of content, linear story setting, and the way that you continued to force events even on the weekend that was misleadingly said to be free exploration put me off your game entirely. the long delay between updates and severe lack of communication between you and your Patreon's didn't help matters either. I could have lived with all of that if there was more freedom in game and a far more events that are not path dependent that is provided that they do not abruptly dead end like the park event did. All said and done I know a great many of your former supporters feel as though you are more interested in working the green mile then providing content. I am not attempting to bash you, this is just my honest criticism. I know that I have not said anything new and that It is all stuff that you have heard before but is all stuff that is still very much valid as none of it has been improved.

First of all, I love it when most people start with the argument "I loved the art but the updates are scarce".

Our updates are month and a half on average, give or take a day, our last 6 updates have been a month and a half or less without a flaw, but you know why our updates take a month and a half and not a month, or two weeks? Because THE ART TAKES TIME TO MAKE. I go on way more forums than those I care about responding to, and I'm so sick and tired of that stupid line. "Art is great but updates take long", it's sooo dumb I just can't even look at it without wanting to bash my head against a wall, it's like some people want a beef wellington at the speed of canned tuna, makes no fucking sense, and even among Patreons that release their games with 3D art we're still one of the steadiest updates out there.

The story was linear at the beginning of the game and new routes to set a story for the game, the game is at like, 40% or maybe even less. The later half of the game IS free roaming, the park scene was just the first of many scenes, this part of the game is just a build up that leads to that part while reducing her morale (or not and directing you to the true ending).

Severe lack of communication? I seriously don't know what you're talking about, I follow 7 patreons and we're way more vocal than 6 of them, we just don't post stuff just for the sake of posting stuff, we post stuff that might actually matter to the Patreons, don't want people to receive e-mails and then check the page to see "Hey, today I went to the beach and I ate a hot dog, now back to working on the game". Please.

About the "he's just trying to mlik patreons". Yeah, because it's much more profitable to do big games that take a long time to sell on places like Steam or DLSite than making small dozen scene games and pop them out every 3 months, right? Right.

Good luck with your game, maybe we'll talk in 6 months with a new perspective.
