We just released the the new build of our game. Version 0.5.41, a Prologue and the four chapters. 

This adult game is in a VN format, but also contains immersive RPG style aspects, including character development, combat and exploration systems. 

 

Manuscript: Another Way storyline:

The main protagonist of this game was an ordinary, (or not?), college student; without a girlfriend. Two campus girls hold romantic interest for him, but he lacks the confidence to approach them. Our 'hero' finds himself in another world full of magic and adventure through a twist of fate, with monstergirl counterparts to his romantic interests in this world... Will he be able to accomplish in this fantasy realm, what he has lacked the willpower for in the real world?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Features : 

- A lot of different endings that reveals new aspects of the story and characters.

- Choices made by the player during the game affect relationship levels and actions with the characters.

- The greater the intimacy of the protagonist to the girls, the more effectively they fight. And vice versa, any actions of the protagonist will affect the attitude of the girls. 

- Several story arcs, that are depending of the protagonists choices.

- Original graphics.

 

The main plot will be a sex relationship between the protagonist and two girls, but there will be multiple sideplot scenes with different sexual content and fetishes.

We are glad to tell you that we have released the final version of the Manuscript. Despite the fact that version 0.5.5 already had finals, we decided to make version 1.0.

What's new in this version?

 

- Added two new battles.  Painted arenas and monsters for it.  As before, battle results affect the relationship with the girls.

 

- The English version has been proofread. Fixed a lot of text errors.

 

- Bug fixes.

 

-  Gameplay and ending's conditions rebalance.

Hello.

We just released a fresh hot update. What it includes? The second episode. It is more than 4,000 words and implies are three ways to story development. Four new erotic scenes, two of them without the participation of the protagonist (only one is real sex, though). The combat was system strongly rebalances and became a little easier. Now the game has sounds and music, thanks to Creative Common.

Manuscript:Another Way v 0.3.22 is out!

We need to apologize to everyone. We were told that the English version of our game was a terrible bug that allows you to see only the scene with Emilyne at camp. We are very sorry that this could cause inconvenience to you. We immediately fix this bug and released a new build of our game.

This version is not more than a hotfix.

Manuscript: Another way status update  11/03/2016.

Hi guys.

We have released an update 0.3.23 for our patrons. It is already available on our Patreon page. Nothing serious in it, just losing the battle scene and the screen with characters status. Now we are making the third episode. There will be a new adventures and a new female character in it. This character will be in the party until the end of the game. It may also be a romantic or sexual option with her in the future versions. Another contents of the third episode will be a new battle and a sex scene with BDSM and hypnosis overtones .

 

Estimated ep.3 release date is 11/11/2016.

 

The Ep.3 will be available to our patrons first. The others will also be able to see the updated demo with new content. The full ep.3 version will be free to everyone after releases of ep.4.

Here is the latest update of Manuscript:Another Way. Version 0.4.32 includes a full episode with a new character, battle event and two possible adult scenes. v0.4.32 is already available for our patrons on Patreon. 

Newly introduced content and fetishes are:

- Mind control

- BDSM 

 

Also, now you can turn off hard scenes, if you don't want to see it.

 

The demo version of the game (v0.4.31) also been updated. It adds combat defeat scenes and some changes in the GUI and graphics. It also debuts the characters statistics screen. Ep.3 will be added to the demo version after the release of the next episode.

Speaking of the next episode, a few words on that... We are expecting adult scenes with the main characters to be completed in episode four.

As we mention before, our game has participated in the competition at the Russian adult game developers community. (on Russian, registration needed)

 

We are pleased to announce that our game, Manuscript: Another way, won first place in two nominations! The best game and the best game design. Also, we took the third place as the best story.

 

According to the contest, we should have done a complete game with the finale. Therefore, we made a temporary episode for the contest. It contains five good endings, two neutral and two bad endings. This does not include the bad endings at battle loses. This episode will not go to the main game plot. The final version of the game may have other endings. In addition, there will be more endings at a later stage.

 

In any case, we decided to release the English version of this episode as a test. It is already available on Patreon for our patrons who have signed up for testing (10$).

 

Meanwhile, we are now working on the next episode of the game. Follow the news!
