This works for 2.01 or earlier game versions only.

CDPR's 2.1 update seems to have broken this mod.

I haven't been able to figure out what they've changed that causes a CTD yet.

 

Replaces some of the existing NPC driven vehicles with motorcycles, police cars, garbage and freight trucks.

 

I never liked the fact that 'V' is the only person able to drive a motorcycle outside a scripted event. I also disliked that all the sanitation and cargo trucks are never driven and always parked, or that you never saw police cars cruising around on patrol.

 

This is a vehicle replacer, that swaps out some of the existing game vehicles you see in traffic with others.

 

OPTION 1 ARCHIVE:

The Villefort Alvarado changed to the Kaukaz Zeya Container. --- Never seen driving in vanilla game.

The Makigai Maimai changed to the Arch Sportbike2. --- Never seen driving in vanilla game.

The Mahir Supron changed to the Brennan Apollo Sportbike3. --- Never seen driving in vanilla game.

The Kaukaz Zeya changed to the Kaukaz Zeya Freight. --- Never seen driving in vanilla game.

The Villefort Cortes changed to the Villefort Cortes Police. --- Never seen cruising/patrolling around in the vanilla game.

USE ONE OR THE OTHER, NOT BOTH

 

I will be updating these one I've figured out what the game is calling some of the vehicles.

 

I didn't write the original script for this; I just modified/combined other authors scripts to have unused vehicles in the traffic pattern.

This requires Cyber Engine Tweaks to work. The folder structure is set up to place it in the proper area.

 

The game doesn't catch every car when replacing them, so you'll still see the pre-replacement vehicles as well, but now you'll also see motorcycles, police cars, sanitation and freight trucks mixed in with the traffic. It's pretty much just eye candy right now. I haven't been able to figure out to have police only drive patrol cars as of yet, so regular NPC's will drive the newly added patrol cars, and they won't chase you around if you get a wanted level.
