Persistent problem with Offline mode

I've fought with Origin for about 2+ weeks with a persistent and repeated issue, for which I cannot find a source or a lasting solution.

Origin will go into Offline mode and will not go online.  As recommended, I deleted and reinstalled Origin only it would not install.  In the first round with EA advisors, I stripped everything off and did a clean reboot, then reinstalled all the EA software and then added in mods a bit at a time.  Things worked for about 4 days.

Everything repeated, I also repeated my earlier steps with no results.  A second round with EA Advisors ended with deletion of my browser cache, removal of everything, moving mods completely off the computer to a stick, and reinstalling.  Again, I gradually put mods back in and things seemed to work for 2-3 days.  I could not open the game from the Origin client, but I could from the Origin site via my browser.

Today, I am back in Offline mode, and several of my packs have ceased to operate although the base game and some packs will still load and play.  I am not greatly savvy about computers and files and such, but I've kept notes through each round with EA Advisors and my searches through the EA forums.  I'd appreciate any ideas or suggestions (I'm running Windows 10, fully updated, with the latest version of the game.  My firewall and other security has already been altered to whitelist Origin and EA, and I'm running everything in Administrator mode)

Has anyone else run into problems of permanent Offline mode?  Are there particular files which tend to contribute to this problem?  I've had one Animation file download once as corrupted (RedAbyss) so I deleted and redownloaded and it seems to work now.    I'm about to go through a third round of pulling out mods until things work again, if they do (otherwise, it's another delete and reload, which is getting very tiresome).

Update:

I've pulled out file after file and still cannot get into Online mode with the game (which means I can't access certain Packs I've purchased).

So, it's one more round of Delete it all and Start Over.

Later. Right now I'm too disgusted.

Update 2:   So, everything cleaned, everything reloaded, and Origin still refuses to go online.  So, my ticket has been sent to specialists.  I don't think it has anything to do with WW at this point, but seems to be something to do with how my computer allows the software to access the internet, or maybe I need to sacrifice a chicken during the full moon and dance counterclockwise around an old hard drive.

I'm extremely frustrated and angry and grrrrrr!   I was enjoying WW and the game much more than I had.  Now I'm just disgusted.  What really bothers me is that it's probably some little thing I did at some point without realizing it and it's just not easy to find now.

Update 3:   After a lot of fiddling and fixing, my game is finally working again.  There's some issue (I'm not clear on the specifics) with my wireless adapter and my proxy settings, which I've worked around with a USB adapter and attention to those settings (which will sometimes "unstick" themselves).  Also, registry cleaning and hunting down a couple of bad mod files.

I'm now trying to get WW animations to fully work again -- although I think I have all of them, some are not showing up with their objects, but that could be missing files I haven't noticed yet.

So, yay!
