Converting an armor from CBBE to Vanilla Male?

Okay, so this might be weird. But I've basically converted a clothing piece for female characters from skyrim to Fallout 4 using nifskope and Outfit studio. I know nothing about 3D modeling programs. I can easily reshape the armor to fit the vanilla male body, appearance-wise in outfit studio, but I'm not sure how to get it to match up with the bones, unless it's all the same and doesn't matter?
