Looking for mod recommendations

I, like everybody else, seem to have caught the Fallout 4 bug whose symptoms include a manic desire to replay the Fallout series. Last time I played NV, it was without mods so if anybody has suggestions as to which mods might improve gameplay/aesthetics, they would be appreciated.

Particularly if anybody knows of some nice UI modifications and ways to remove (or lessen) that pervasive yellow tint. Two of my biggest bugbears. That and the miserable face textures that made me resort to wearing a mask at all times.

 

All suggestions welcome though.
