What do I need to put mods into skyrim? And what would I need to put my own home made mods into skyrim?

do you mean where to put your mods for skyrim? cause if that is the case then mods go under the data folder in you skyrim folder.

nope just drag and drop the mods into their proper folders, if you wanna make things easier instead of manually installing mods, you could use NMM (nexus mod manager) it will automatically place mods in their right place and if you have nexus mods it will tell you when to update them
