	It's been some time but with August fast approaching I thought a few words from me would be in order. Afterall I haven't really had much going on here this year.
</p>

	Overall I can't really say much besides, that I haven't abandomned the project. But things changed (family related things I'd rather not go into detail about) and I was forced to give away some of my already limited free time but it's clearing up again.
</p>

<p>
	 
</p>

<p>
	And unfortunatily Bugthesda has also been kinda active again and by accident I ruined my old AE setup. But that's what I keep backups for afterall. Currently my dev setup is still running on AE 1.6.640, very unlikely to change anything about that.
</p>

<p>
	I'm testing the mod on the last SE release as well and so far haven't noticed anything being incompatible or not working as it should.
</p>

	This is likely the last time you'll hear from me this year. I've been primarly bugfixing and developing the story a bit, in theory that is, nothing implemented yet.
</p>

	I've also done some testing possible punishment scenarios for misbehaving slaves. In my Ideas and Feedback section quite a few people (including me) were unhappy with the way the slave sister system worked. Of course I could have just gone ahead and scrapped the idea entirely but I didn't really want that.
</p>

<p>
	As slaves carry a rank, depending on their behavior I thought this could be made useful in that slaves get put in groups that get punished accordingly.
</p>

<p>
	 
</p>

<p>
	So for this let's assume rank 0 is neutral, not rebellious but not very submissive. There's no perks but also no downsides.
</p>

<p>
	All slaves of this rank form a group, a faction if you will. So lets assume the player also has the rank 0 but now breaks the rules. Like for example refusing an order given by a slaver.
</p>

<p>
	Of course they'll get punished for misbehaving but every other slave in that city that also has the rank of 0 get's punished all the same. This would create a certain disposition towards the player as they got punished for the mistake of another.
</p>

<p>

	The same would the player get punished for any mistake one of the npc slaves make. Of course the slavers will make sure you get to know who was the one that made the mistake, do with that what you will.
</p>

	Of course you can increase your slave rank by behaving like the slavers want you to behave or decrease it by misbehaving. I don't think I really need to explain that any further.
</p>

	It remains somewhat similar to what the original slave sister system set out to be but just wasn't. Or at least, what I believe it should have been.
</p>

	But unfortunatily this will have to do for now.
</p>

	Until the end of february 2024 I will mostly be occupied taking care of a few very important tests. Firstly I'm finishing my drivers license which is quite a tedious, longwinded and expansive process where I live (about 2.2k if anyone is interested). In addition to that a second, about equally as important series of tests is coming up soon, they will determine if I will soon have a better paying job or if I wasted 3 years of my life for nothing. I think everybody can see how that is very important.

	All this starts in november so until then I will still be around giving answers etc.

	Maybe I will be able to release another stable dev version before that. I will try to at least deliver you something before the year is up.

	So ... this one is gonna be a bit more on the shorter side. I didn't plan on actually writing this one but since I've been asked a few times by now. I have <strong>NOT</strong> abandomned the project.

	Currently progress is again slow due to a lot of real life ... stuff, I will not get further into here. Technically I could release the next version but I won't do so until I'm actually free to continue bugfixes, help etc. all requiring a lot of time I just don't have right now. And it's almost 35°C outside and 30°C inside and my pc isn't exactly helping with the heat situation ...
</p>

	Anyway the story is getting a continuation and I'm currently testing out some systems for the full release ( which most likely won't be included in the next dev update). 
</p>

	I originally didn't feel like making this post but with everything slowing down lately I think it is in order to let everybody know about the current progress.

	This update is going to be bigger than any previous one, including multiple new quests and possibly the slavers headquarters. 
</p>

	To give you some insight in what I've done so far here is a short summary of the quests in this update:
</p>

<p>
	 
</p>

<p>
	After securing the whiterun hold Slave Master Pike has decided the most important thing now is aquiring money. Lots of money. And that's going to be your new task. 
</p>

<p>
	As a representative of the Slaver Organization (SO) you will be in charge of securing a few oppertunities to bring in a constant stream of coins into Pikes pockets. 
</p>

<p>
	There are multiple quests that can be done in any order but they might offer different paths depending on which quests you already did.
</p>

<p>
	 
</p>

<p>
	1. Quest: Hostile Takeover
</p>

<p>
	A group of woodcutters are trying to expand their own opperation to skyrim and unfortunately they choose the whiterun hold for this and could offer wood far cheaper than Hod from riverwood could. And he can't do anything about it, at least not by himself. 
</p>

<p>
	That's where the player will come in, your task is to get rid of them without drawing any suspicion to riverwood of course.
</p>

<p>
	 
</p>

<p>
	2. Quest: Mine Slaver (Inspired by <a contenteditable="false" data-ipshover="" data-ipshover-target="https://www.loverslab.com/profile/2923883-whoamieh/?do=hovercard" data-mentionid="2923883" href="https://www.loverslab.com/profile/2923883-whoamieh/" rel="">@wHOaMiEH</a>) 
</p>

	You remember the riverwood mine that Alvor send you to in return for his support? Well, Alvor needs more iron and the bandits have increased their price since then once more. Go to the mine and convince the bandits once more but they have a different plan of what to do with you ...
</p>

	3. Quest: To kill a merchant (Unrelated to the "making money" task)
</p>

<p>
	There's a drunk merchant in the <span>New Gnisis Cornerclub (the dark elf inn in Windhelm) going on about slavery coming to Skyrim. And at the moment the SO is in no position to have people talk too much about rumors and the like. Ambarys Rendar is in favour of supporting Pike's cause and send a letter to him about it. </span>
</p>

	<span>And someone has to make sure he stops spreading his "rumors".</span>
</p>

	I hope it gave you some insight in what I'm working on, I've recently had a few negative events happening to me which made slowed the general progess a lot. I haven't work on it the entire week, up to today. I just couldn't bring myself to it.

	Well, again I can only say this took far far too long and I apologize for that.

	The quest got changed a lot with different ideas and my original plans for it.
</p>

	Either it didn't work, wasn't as good as I wanted it to be or just far too long. Non of which I wanted to release.
</p>

	This version is rather short but I think works almost the best as for what it is, a setup that helps to introduce the mod while making it easily skipable for anybody who chooses to do so. 
</p>

	In addition to keep it "immersive" without conflicting mods like SexLab Survival. 
</p>

	I thank everybody who is and continues to be here. Your ideas is what makes this mod possible and keeps me motivated to work on this massive project.

	This task is very short and only really serves as a setup for a new questline of side missions. 	Since I've been quite silent lately I believe it's best if I give everybody a report on the current state of things and the future.

	As for what's happening right now, I'm creating the riverwood enslavement quest. I've taken suggestions from <a href="https://www.loverslab.com/blogs/entry/14722-ideas-and-feedback/" rel="">Ideas and Feedback</a> and implement some of them in some way or another.
</p>

<p>
	Creating quests is a long task, especially when trying around with different ideas and wanting to offer choices that can lead to different outcomes, I hope you can all be patient with me. Life has changed in different ways for me lately (in a good way). And I had a week of basically not making anything in term of development.
</p>

<p>
	But I've picked up work this monday again and continued as usual.
</p>

<p>
	I've also updated to AE and as such had to reinstall all the things I use for development, like SexLab and getting that to work correctly again.
</p>

<p>
	 
</p>

<p>
	For the future I'm planning to finish the riverwood enslavement and give everybody a first look at everything. Motivation is pretty good right now and I currently spend most days working on the mod in some way or another. Please don't ask for any dates because I can not say anything at this point in time.
</p>

<p>
	Right now this mod is getting made with a female PC in mind, for both slaver and slave path. These are heavily entwined with each other, making quests failable and suffering the consequences of your actions. The slavery organization is a place just filled with people ready to betray you whenever the chance comes ...
</p>

<p>
	I plan on having cities undergo changes over time. For example, when whiterun first gets enslaved the only real change will be that the slavery headquarter will appear, a rather small base but good enough for everything necessary. The city will still look more or less like you know it. And they deny any involvment with slavery, instead calling the slaves "workers".
</p>

<p>
	After some time you will see the city and headquarter changing, some new laws made their ways in and some new objects. Like for example a public punishment stage, where you can watch ... or partake in things like whipping, rape etc. on both ends. And slaves will officially be slaves ... obviously.
</p>

<p>
	Like a "corruption" system, the people get more tolerant and used to the slavery around. You will see slaves around town, performing various tasks for the slavers or whoever owns the slave. I guess you get the idea. 
</p>

	Here are some screenshots of the main hall I'm working on as of right now.

	Due to time issues the progress isn't very far and I'm still not finished with it, I will still have to add more details. Like food on the tables and maybe a small bar area but nothing is final on that.

	As progress is made I will update these screens with more up to date ones.

	Added two guest rooms, these are meant for just the occational person that comes by to just quickly fuck a slave and then leave again.
