THE KLUB 17 VX - KE Update 2

Some folks have asked bout updates so figured instead of responding to individual PMs we can provide some color here. We had a lot of success with KE Update 1 that enabled butt sliders and brought in some other features.  That said we are currently working on KE Update 2 to continue to expand the feature set. The focus areas will be the following:

EXPANSION OF PE MORPH SLOTS

We are hoping to roll this out within the next months but stay tuned for when the beta is announced.Special thanks to Driver aka Hootie and Tipsy who have been instrumental in getting the code correct for this update to be possible.

CONTENT UPDATES

We have a couple of new video tutorials live. vi363R provided a basic tutorial of how he ports clothes from Daz to add to Smoke's existing tutorial for making clothing. We also added a new tutorial walking through the process of creating H5 Object Rooms using CTK.

NEW MODS

There has been a flood of all sorts of new(not reposted) content so lets get into it. Over 150 new mods including, addons, poses, re-textures, and script mods Below where added since the last update. Below are the  featured content since the last update.

INTRODUCING.....

That is right folks. We have updated the Videos system to something...well, a lot better. Thanks to the donations we had some extra and was able to get some custom applications developed for a better videos experience. So if you are looking to upload your little TK17 videos somewhere. We got you covered. We are working on moving videos over but we pretty much have all the Tutorials on the new platform, so check it out and tell us what you think.  We have already transferred over 200 videos to the new platform thanks to Lans Damon for all his efforts.

EXILE COMICS

That is right.  We now have a dedicated comics platform for all you creators out there. I did not get a chance to add this to the F95 post so I am adding it here. If you create comics you now have a dedicated space and viewer to show your comics in all its...well...comic glory, LOL

Yes I know they broke in October and it left that competition hanging but things seems to be back to normal. We have 2 March Competitions Currently in Progress

MODDER SHOUT OUT

I just want to give a big shout out to Driver aka Hootie (From MG). For those of you who are know and do not know, many of of your favorite bodies and Skins where all developed by Driver. His assets ability to bring out the best of your models is something special. From a KE standpoint Hootie is Memeber #8, that is he is the first Non-Member of the admin team, and not going to lie he has been a crucial piece of KE's success. Also he made the sweet KE Banner and the KE Launch Image. That said Drivers has rolled out a Master Piece in Body Making with his Latona Body, that is taking the community by storm.

I mentioned it here before but it is truly a work of art. In Driver fashion he is also modifying many of the popular clothing items for it, not to mention other modders creating morphs for it. We have hit our first 3 goals in record fashion and are on our way to achieving the last. We recently just passed the 19,000 member mark and we are on the road 20K.  The goal is to surpass the 40k mark, yeah there was a lot of people in MG, but I believe in time we will get there.  Ok now some updates...

XILE POINTS aka XP

First and foremost we have made some updates to our XP System.  Please make sure you read the post from Smoke regarding those changes.  These mainly impact modders but there are some items in there for members also.

Yes the BlackJack Tables are still live and working if you have so much XP you don't even know what to do with it.

Oh and with that we have refreshed the Members Shop. You now have different options to redeem your XP, either by showcasing your content, clearing up your rep, or just playing little side games.  The XP Stimulus has been increased to 400 XP, and you can grab new XP every 3 months.  Remember the fastest and easiest way to earn XP is through engagement, but for those who prefer not to...here you go.

COMPETITIONS

Our members asked and and we listened.  We now have new themed competitions for folks to participate in.  Yes the Monthly is still there but we have newer ones to test your "artistic" skills against the rest of the community.

Hey Folks,

First off glad to see the insane amount of people joining the community through F95.  Honestly nice to see new people coming in with new ideas that can be applied to the game. We saw over a thousand new members join just in June with engagement up 36%.  Definitely big ups to F95 for creating a platform we can leverage.  We do not want to forget about those on the original Lovers Lab portal, so lets get into it.

HAIR!!!!!!!

Oh if you thought the few pieces of H5 Hairworks Hair we had on MG was not enough.  Rest assured we have you covered. We have over 60 different new styles above and beyond the PervK hairs made earlier. Driver was going solo releasing new hairs and then we posted a Hairworks Tutorial, and newly minted modder  vi363R kind of went nuts. LOL Dude is a HairWorks beast.  I definitely suggest you check out ehat he has to offer.

ROOMS

So some of you might know nikoli , he has been making his rounds.  I definitely suggest you take some of his H5 Object retextures of default rooms for a spin.  They are done with the utmost level of care. I think you will find some of them as your go to version

Also you cannot talk about H5 Object Rooms without mentioning Sexvision.  There are over 200+ H5 Object Rooms and the majority were built by him in just the last 3 years.  Talk about dedication.

POSES!!

While you will find a lot of poses on the site I definitely suggest you take a look at the following artist.

Xalas is still releasing Pose Pack after Pose Pack like a beast.  If you are familiar and like the Xalas style he has released a multitude of new pose packs since KE Launched.  Def check his work out if your a glutten for poses

Has it been a while.  Holidays were a little rough with some data issues but we prevailed. That said I wanted to blog about something some folks tend to disregard.  That is quality content.  In a post before I mentioned that content is King.  When all said is done the more content you have the better off you are continuing to drive a healthy modding community.  It seems other sites finally has learned this lesson a few years late but hey at least they learned.

KE Currently has over 7000 cataloged mods available for download at about 25% of these new addons never seen in MG.  Making it the largest catalog of mods for any adult game out there.  This includes:

• Over 500 Legacy Rooms,
• Over 100 VX Rooms,
• Over 200 H5 Rooms
• Over 1000 Poses including over 400 Pose Packs
• Over 2000 Clothing Addons
• Over 400 Body Addons
• Over 900 Models
• Over 300 H5 Textures and Enhancements
• 25+ Legacy Content Archives (Containing all the old MG Content)
• Over 500 Toy add-ons including 150+ Vehicles
• Over 100 New Hair Addons
• and more....

Oh and this is not like the old MG, where you had to search through pages and pages of post to find what you are looking for.  Or where you clicked on a Mega link only to find it has expired.  These are individual cataloged downloads, stored on our servers,  searchable through an search engine powered by Elastic search all ad free.  This ain't your grandpas MG. LOL!!  I mean that is what donations bring....better features.

This is what the KE Community of over 17,000 members have accomplished in less than 3 years. This does not even include the numerous  legacy archives capturing most if not all content from the old MG.  Oh and no, this is not a single person re-posting links to MG content pulled from a defunct Russian site.  We have multiple mega archives for that.  This is about content from a community looking to move forward with the new and improved content versus old and outdated. On a modern platform not stuck in some time 10 years ago.

For us it has always been about quality content first. That ethos will continue to thrive in the community as more and more modders both old and new step up to the plate to cement their place in the TK17 Legacy brought to you by the Klub Exile.  I look forward to all that is to come.  But until then...

The Exile Continues....

What about the updates coming from Team K17? Well the team announced almost a year ago they will not be updating or doing any more work on VX.  So we do not expect any conflicts there.

Why Version P? why not Version Q or R?  We chose version because we found the later versions not to be as stable. After testing them for some months they were more prone to crash for whatever reason.  The changes in those versions in our opinion were not worth sacrificing stability.

Can anyone contribute?  Yes, this is not some closed club were only a few people can contribute to updates.  If you are interested in adding something new you created to an update.  Inquire within KE.

What changes are coming in this update?  Well the changes we have in this update are as below:

There is a known conflict with the Advanced Accessories System (AAS), so please bear that in mind if you use that mod.  In the future we will most likely roll the mod into Update 2.

So with that I did want to call out some key members whose contributions to KE has put us where we are.

First in a league of his own, Driver, aka Hootie, aka Non-Admin Member #1.  While Driver does not have the most files out there or even the most pics, he has been key in ensuring the sites success.  As one of the initial members clued in on what we were doing, he has always had our backs and support and gone above and beyond to continue push the modding mission forward.  From his work on finding and identifying R9 rooms to migrate to KE, to his push to ensure key tutorials and documentation are memorialized on the site, Driver is one of those that has earned his #1 Member Badge.

Second "Those Hook5 Boys" LOL...or as some of you know Sadekhnd and Sexvision.  If you are a H5 users and you do not know who these 2 people are...well not sure what rock you have been sleeping under. These two have taken H5 and used it to produce what I like to call a shit ton of content.  I mean rooms galore.  In addition to this not only have they developed this content they have additionally created tools and applications to help ease new users into creating H5 content of their own.  I mean...when we say taking that modding vision and making it their own a thing, these two have lived by that moto.

Third the new school.  Hey if yo create a modding site and cannot develop new modders...well what is the point? So to the new school modders who came into the game lurkers and have moved into modding ranks big ups to that crew from vi363R and his stunning H5 Hairworks creations and clothing retextures, Sadekhd who has become a new found toy creation export, and Cross bringing his own personal flavor to the modding scene. If anything thank you for stepping in and stepping up.

Oh and to the old school.  Yeah no one can forget about our OG content creators as without them, will this would have been much harder. Kraegar, IBE, Aardy, Xalas, MrOllyK, CN-74, Berger..and all the of you have been doing this longer than you care to admit, your presence and support has always been huge helping to guide folks and just being that other Senior Member in the mix helpling to keep the ship moving.  Our appreciation goes without saying.

Finally thank you to all those members who provide that quality interaction in the community through all the content you take your time to produce.  While not perfect we have found Anti-Leeching experiment to be a tremendous success in driving interaction across the KE Community.

Many of you are ware that @pervokpetr released the DRM free version of Hook5 Extended sometime last year.  This was a huge push forward for the game as it made Hook5 more accessible and also made it easier on folks to not worry about new keys when they did any updates.  That said this was effectively the last update for Hook5 as mentioned in his patreon there is little @pervokpetr can do to move it forward.

About VXGI. I successfully resolved sun shadows bug and movement halo bug, lucky that problem was not in dynamic objects. Currently I'm trying learn and understand vxgi parameters for better quality and performance. Also new problem faced - transparent object require new shading to recieve correct VXGI lighting and should be compiled by VXGI module - have no clue right now how to do it - my shading complicated enough. Once I resolve this questions all exclusive patrons will recieve version with VXGI. And I will move further with attempt to implement physx clothing - as I said in begining of project I have doubt about this, but as you I want to give it a try.

And finaly - without your support hook5 had no chance to be implemented!

Hook5 extended has been leaked in multiple areas. Now on KE we have made it policy to not post Extended on the site as technically it was still behind a paywall on Patreon.  That being said we have received multiple reports from users of their unavailability to complete payments to Patreon to simply access the Extended Hook5.  We have reached out to Pervokpetr multiple times in the past few months to inform him of the issues but unfortunately he is no longer responding to messages.

From our perspective Hook5 is a core mod for the game.  Without it many folks would have moved on.  In our opinion while we would prefer to have the nod from @pervokpetr to post the full extended suite on KE, after months and months of no response we felt we should do what is best for the community as new users are not able to get access. Recently Hook5 Extended has posted by OysterMug in the Team K17 LL Club. As some may know OsyterMug basically had has computer infected with ransomware maybe a year ago or so, and while I hope he fixed it, We all should be cautious of anything you download. We want to make sure we are providing a set of files that are free from any malware or other issues, so please ensure you do watch what you download. Finally we do thank @pervokpetr for all his years of work keeping this game relevant.  Without him solely moving this project along, as a community, we probably will not even exist.  He put new life into a game and even when he did not get support from the Dev Team (Who tried to hack it), he still kept things moving for the sake of the community.  @pervokpetr if you do see this wherever you are.  Cheers to you man.  You are the real MVP

Well its been a while huh?

Well folks as we enter in to 2022 one thing that is ever apparent is the community is as strong as ever. Sure we had some interesting moments along the way, making sure or infrastructure was right and removing some known undesirables out of the community, but with all that things have not skipped a beat.

Community Growth

With just over under 9,000 members in the community KE will soon eclipse the membership size of both Lover's Lab clubs which is crazy when you think about where this started from.  If anything that means a lot of new users to the TK17 scene are joining the community and with new users come new demands.  What we don't want to do is tell them...

"Hey Newbie......(Insert Rude Remark Here)"

We all know how that felt in MG. Like someone gave you a bad cup of oysters  .   We are hoping this has effectively come to an end. That said we are working on some areas to give new users some better information on how to install and get started with the game.  Yes things are littered all over the place in various tutorials and post, but we feel a one stop shop guide will be good for all involved.  Stay tuned for more on this coming in the near future.

With new users also comes the need for more consistent moderation.  Life happens people come and go so now and then we will move members in to moderator roles.  That said we are very happy to have our newest moderator @KOYOT909 to the Exile Crew.

Modding and Content Creation

Modding is still the core of what we do.  In the past year the community has released hundreds of new mods to game significantly expanding the games abilities and also keeping things fresh.  However the biggest success is cultivating new modders to fill in the voids as all modders move off to other interest. New modders like @Cross2149, Sade, Hunter, and others who have released new clothes, new rooms, new toys, and other interesting items in the past year.

The new influx of mods has created a increased desire for more ways to create content.  While images still are the tried and true content creator platform..more and more users and moving into the video space giving users more variety of content to consume.  We have also started a RenPy club for users who have interest to use TK17 to develop their own games or visual novels.  The idea is to simply learn from those who have already been there and done it.

Soooo....What about V11 and MG 2.0?

I will address this question here because usually right around this time is when people start asking questions as it has been over a year.  The Exile Crew simply does not know what the status of V11 and MG 2.0 is.  There have been no public announcements that have been made on status of the new version of the game or of a new site.  If you curious and want more detailed answers I suggest you PM the leaders of the Dev team club or pose your question in the devs team discord server.

2022 Focus Areas

Our focus for 2022 is simple nothing major or fancy

• Keep the game well and alive, and its modding scene thriving.
• Promote the modding scene through development of tutorials and knowledge
• Where possible, refine the core game features or add new game features.
• Encourage contribution in any beneficial form and discourage leeching.
• Discourage any form of content usage without permission.

Yep that is it folks.  We are definitely looking forward to the new year and what is to come for this little adult vice of ours.  As things become blog worthy we will post it here.  But until them Happy Fapping!! LOL

HA!!! Hopefully that title doesn't trigger anyone.

It's official or may I say it is Google Official.  Klub Exile is now the top ranking search result for "The Klub 17"on Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo.  Yes, this is our little victory lap for all those out here that did not believe in us or called us a bunch of nobodies....HAHAHAH.  This is something that has only been made possible by the community and their continued support and contributions and just word of mouth making KE the premier location for everything TK17.  As we approach our 1 year Anniversary, Officially on October 26 KE membership is likely to hit 7000 members when he hit 1 year.  That my friends...is nuts, and nothing we would have ever expected in launching this little venture.

We always appreciate our friends on LL who gave us a home away from home and as we continue to look forward to bigger and better things for the modding community, us being allowed a presence is much appreciated.

So to all of those who helped, pushed us harder, or simply cheered us on...Thank You!!!

Well for those of you who do not know the KE Donation Campaign for Year 2 has been running for about 3 weeks.  Well, I am happy to see KE has met and surpassed our site funding needs for Year 2.  With the additional donations received we will also be extending domain registrations on the ModsGarden.Net, ModsGarden.Info, and ModsGarden.Org domains acquired earlier this year.

Just wanted to give a special shout to the community at large both on LoversLab and on KlubExile as none of this would be even possible without the support of the community.

The CodeWork Lab

Welcome to the evolution of modding.  When we went off on this KE venture as a site for modders.  Well....we meant it.  The CodeWork lab is the next evolution of spaces for modders to better learn and share out of the box ways to code the game.  This is X17's brainchild and while still in early stages we expect a lot to come out of this little section of Klub Exile.  Consider it the "Project X" of Klub Exile.  Cheers to x17 for bringing this to life.

Updated Site Features

We Added a few new site features to the site.  Hopefully you like them.

MEMBER AWAY

So sometimes we need a break, we are going on vacation, or we just know we are going to be away from the site for a while.  Well now members can set an away status on your profile to let folks know your not around. Simply go to your account settings and select Member Away and fill out the details.

DISCORD INTEGRATION

We now have full discord integration allowing folks to link and sign on to the site using your discord account.  The option is in settings and is available for anyone to use

DISCORD DOWNLOAD AND ANNOUNCEMENTS FEED

The Downloads Feed in the KE DIscord is back live and improved.  So if you want a simple way of finding out what new downloads have hit the site without logging in.  You can checkout the Downloads Feed on the KE Discord.  The Announcement Feed also pulls all announcements made in the announcements channel so another quick way to find the important stuff

SITE GOOGLE TRANSLATION WIDGET

So we have integrated the Google Website Translater into Klub Exile, so you can now translate the site to over 90 different languages with the click of a button.  You will find the translate options on the bottom of the page in the footer

Hey Fellow Kinky Game Connoisseurs, its been a while.  There are a lot of updates here so bear with me. I wanted to give some updates on KE since I have graced this blog with my presence for the past few couple of weeks.  Anyway, lets get into it.

THE KE GIRL

Let us start with the obvious changes to the LL Portal.  Some of  you may be asking...

"New Model, Who That?"

Well the new model is Euphie's model Xila,,,Get It...LOL. Anyways the model is coutersy of Euphie putting in time as usual to create perfection.  No Kragear's model is not off rotation yet (Ya'll know I like me some Kraegar models), but figured introducing Xila as the new banner model makes more sense.  I mean SHE HAS KE BLUE HAIR!!!

You can consider Xila kind of like KE's Mascot...lol.

WHAT IS OFFICIAL ANYWAY?

Ok next....we took the Official out of Official. LOL.  So what is official anyway? For those of you who don't know....nothing truly about this game is "Official". There are just groups of modders, some big some small.....some organized, some not , etc etc etc.  Anyway you get my drift...so we killed that.  The LL site will just be called the Klub Exile Portal. Simple and to the point.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Ok so the biggest news for those of you living on the outskirts of KE is that Achievements went live about 1 month ago, and the reception from the community is great.  Now you might be asking....What is Achievements? Well it is basically a badge and reputation system for community contributions used to rank up.  We took some time after it went live to get the badging and points rules right, but I do believe it has been a resounding success.

THE "WHERE WOULD YOU BE POLL"

Yep so we are currently running a community to get an idea of a few things from the community...namely if KE didn't exist where would you be?  Ooooo spicy questions.  We will run this poll indefinitely and give some updates every 100 or so members that take it, but the initial results have been interesting

Well...

Some folks were not aware there are 2 Voice Set Creation tools for the game.  Voice Set Installer by OysterMug and Muse Skill Tree by Raistin Kane.  Now I'm not going to cast opinions about one or the other, but seeing how one was made by Raistin Kane....creator of CTK I know which one I would use ?.

That said Muse Skill Tree is available on KE as the official supported Voice Set creator, In my humble opinion it is a better, more feature rich tool for you folks to use to create your Voice sets.  The biggest difference for me is the fact the tool has auto lip-sync which reads your OGG files and creates the lip sync for you without you having to do a thing including creating the SNF files. MST spits out a t** file that can be simply decoded using t** tools and added to your game. Yes it is that easy.

I personally use this to mix and match voicesets which may not be part of the same package, and to simply have a simple way to share.  Giving someone an addon is much easier than trying to explain to them how to make a voiceset. No more collecting OGG files and OVC files to make your voiceset, simply add the ID you need and export.  This also makes sharing voicesets much simpler.  Now we know that there could be an issue with conflicting ID's, so we have created a database on KE where users can simply reserve ID's for the voice sets so they can share their addons with the community.

The site has additionally been tweaked so users can tag VoiceSets that are Addons vs raw voice files. Like everything this can be filtered to your hearts content. MST version of voicesets have replaced voices from users no longer on KE.  Instructions on how to use Muse Skill Tree are in the details section of the Download page on KE.  Enjoy!!!

So one of the biggest hurdles with this game has been understanding how to mod.  Like huge hurdle.  Because this game primarily runs on a group of scripts modding this game has a lot and I mean a lot to do with not only using and understanding Blender but also understanding how those scripts work.

Well in MG we had a few tutorials and a lot help post buried in the forums.  In addition we had the ever so valuable Raistin Kane Research Center (RKRS) that provided an invaluable  detailed look to how this game operates.  For those of you who are not aware.  Much of the goodies you like now in TK17 are courtesy of things uncovered by RK.  Welp the nice side is that we were able to save the entire RKRS and post to KE, now the only place you will actually find it.  However reading all the articles there may still not help you on your modder journey.

Well tutorials are great, but we are stepping the help system up on Klub Exile and starting to bring you Video Guides (Yup Good ol fashion video) to guide users on how to mod.

This is an added benefit to the already volumness Tutorials section on KE, giving users some more visual help in moving along their journey.  One of the easiest things to create in this game are toys.  I mean you create those things forever, so a tutorial giving users a step by step, (soup to nuts) instruction on building a toy becomes the first step to understanding basic knowledge of modding.

From there @Mr_Smoke gives a 30 minute lecture in porting and making your own addons from import, to sculpting, to CTK. As one of the most experienced modders active today (some might say the most experienced) this information becomes a valuable asset for those trying to work there way into the TK17 modding scene.

This is just the beginning. As I have said in previous post.  One of our core missions is to foster a vibrant, healthy, modding community and having just a few people who know how to do anything does really help us do that.  For now there are the basics but as we continue on expect more tutorials on morphs and more advanced modding techniques going forward.

I'm just going to say this here and say it now.  In our minds KlubExile.com is the new ModsGarden. This is where the vast majority of the community contributes and interactus with each other and this is where the vast majority of modders post their goods.  ModsGarden.info, ModsGarden.Net, and Modsgarden.org are all KlubExile owned domains.  When we saw marketing companies trying to sit and squat on the main domain, we quickly swooped up the remaining main domains to ensure ownership remains with the community.  These domains all forward to KE, and hopefully help people find where the community is.

As we move towards a full year with 5300 members on KE, we are effectively keeping a level of distance between us and the development team.  While they are doing what they do and hope the succeed with V11...life goes on.  We represent a much wider larger community over 3 times the size and our focus needs to remain there.  Helping new members understand the game, helping upcoming modders become elite modders, and pushing the moding scene forward.

About the VX Install files.  As much as people hate to admit, the VX files on the Official TK17 Club were all taken from my Megalink were I stored the game and hook 5 files. So please be confident all game files downloaded from either KE or the KE Club do not contain malicious code as a certain person has insinuated. These are my own files I backed up on my Pro account before MG died.  The original files were on a free link that ultimately expired.

Look I'm going to be real, unlike a certain group of people the KE admins have always been straight up and transparent with the community we represent and serve and we will continue to do so. Yes we are here to provide a service to the community as a whole. No meaningless titles, No Leaders, and No manipulation schemes coming from us. We have always let you know were we stand and what we are doing, so that does not change.  In our eyes there is no leader of the TK17 Community...there is just the community and the people who step up to serve it. 

While the dev team has stopped work on VX that is what we mod on.  90% of the community are Hook5 users, and this is not just people who use PBR maps.  This is people who use Hairworks, Objects for Rooms, Tessellation for Skins, the list goes on.  Some seem to think Hook5 is just shaders..well yes that is one aspect of Hook5 but it is much more than that.  Hook5 does not even use the same PBR workflow as SV2 so while some say it will work converting a Specular PBR Workflow to a Metal one is not just about changing colors.

I digress but for those interested in the PBR Workflow Conversion Process check the link: https://marmoset.co/posts/pbr-texture-conversion/ hopefully that dev team takes some notes because unfortunately I have yet to see anything come out of the dev team that is even close to Hook5 (Don't believe the hype). I have used SV2 64Bit which are the same shaders and as they say...

"Hook5 just hits different"

I guess time will tell. In the mean time something to educate folks on what Hook5 really does.

SIMPLE UI THEME

So this theme was designed by HFG2 primarily made for those who would like a more simpler look to their game.  It uses a purple accent and for the most part is Light theme.  No other bells and whistles on this one.

TK4CH Theme

This theme was made by IILLL and designed for those who want that TK4CH Repack look in VX.  It uses Neon Green accent for the UI for a subtle pop of color

DARK and LIGHT THEME

One of my favorites on this list is the Dark and Light Teme from CR532.  Every aspect of this theme has been changed for a modern clean look compared to the default clunky theme that looks like it comes out of the early 2000's.

The latest version also includes new icons for XBody Morphs which is always a plus in my book.

KLUB EXILE INTERFACE OVERHAUL

Ok I saved this one for last as this is a complete interface overhaul of the stock interface going with a Ultra Black theme with KE Blue accents.  Lets start with the interface.  x17 left no texture left unturned when he put this together starting with the unique customizer room that places your model in a dark void with just glowing blue platform to stand on

This going to be short and to the point. A member took it upon themselves to post and image depicting a Black male model in an inflammatory pose, captioned with a phrase that included the "N" word on KE. When this member was confronted, he went on a racist diatribe using not only the N word, but other references such as "slave" before saying he would post the image to the official TK17 club...to which he followed through doing. What's more is that a member of the official Klub leadership went on and liked this member's image. This pretty much solidifies what their stance is. We on the other hand will not tolerate it.

To put it simply, if you are in any way bigoted towards any other race, religion, sexual preference or gender identity...in the simplest way I can say it; "Get the fuck out of my club, and get the fuck off of my forum." Lovers Lab has strict and stringent rules towards bigotry and racism. On the same vein, so to do we on Klub Exile. If you at all identify or even sympathize with this member or the Official club "leadership" who liked this image, do me the solid of leaving. This sort of behavior is accepted and condoned by them, not us. As a black man myself I take personal offense to this image. This was a blatant attempt at an inflammatory insult, but it will not be met with vitriol or retaliation. It's being met with indifference. If you're the kind of person who thinks this is at all acceptable, you're not welcome among the Klub Exile membership...here or the official forum.

Soooo, have not done a hot content post in a while.  Busy swatting community pest.  That said, no time but the present to showcase some of the content being developed on Klub Exile.

Hair Hair and More Hair

Alright lets talk about hair.  Lets talk about Hook Hair aka Hairworks.  I want to say this is the one thing in the modding community that folks have had a rough time figuring out.  Yes Raistin Kane himself provided a guide and tools in the RK Research Center to help users do this, but we all know about those RK instructions....lol they make you think.

Well new off the edit room floor we now have a Comprehensive Guide to Creating Hairworks Hair including tools and Growth Meshes users can use to get started.  Below was like my 10th try trying to create a Big Hair Style...I think this one may be publishable.That said like everything practice makes perfect.  Driver aka Hootie has done a nice job pushing some quality hairs into the site. His latest She-Wolf (shown below) is one all of you should have in your game.

Now with a more comprehensive guide in the archives, it opens the door to much more new hair content made by your fellow members in the community.  Lets also not forget, creating hairworks hair is great way to get in on the mod scene if your trying to start somewhere.

Bringing Back the Classics

Thats right folks Euphie's Sensual Wear is back on Klub Exile this time properly attributed to Euphie herself.  This one was redone with modified morphs and the whole treatment.  Don't settle for the old one, get the new one exclusively on Klub Exile.

Speaking of Classics guess who has been busy in the shop.  None other but Mr Smoke improving on some of the best threads in the game. This time the ultimate Club dress has gotten a make over. Yep Cowl Neck Mini Dress has been improved some some advanced MTL texture madness smoke is cooking in the Smoke Shop, so ummm yeah you know you need to get that.  Oh and as a bonus he redid those Crystal Ladies for you feet aficionados....got to love those Smoke Heels.

Modders Still doing Hook Thangs.....

Yep, folks still finding ways to create interesting things with Hook5.  Driver introduced a new H5 stockings sytem that cleverly uses displaments to get that ever so popular crushed thighs look.  Oh I am sure the community is going to have fun with this one.

Oh lets not mention all the rooms.  To date there are 83 H5 Object Rooms on Klub Exile.  I'm not even sure where they all came from but those folks are busy. One you might want to try out is Sadekhnd's new pub.  A nice little hang out for all you Hook 5 users out there.

Yep the King of Rooms is still on missions. Bergerroom23 and 25 is his new masterpieces.  I'm not even going to try to explain it here you just have to check it out for yourself

That is right folks, we took a little break to make some improvements to the Contest System, and simply rethink how we go about doing these.  So what changed?

• Well we listened to the community and we now have delays in contest before voting starts.  SO no more the earlier you get in the more votes you get. Folks have a period time to submit when the contest opens and voting occurs after.
• We also polled the community on the types of contest they would like so we are featuring our first Community Choice contest for Best Animation.
• Finally we have gone from Weekly Image Contest to Monthly Image Contest giving folks a little bit more time to compose that perfect shot.

As the header image says we are currently running 3 contest:

• Best Animation is this periods Community Choice contest running till Mid June.
• The May Image Contest runs till the end of the month
• Summer Vibes is our Long Run Contest running till end of July.

There is still time to get in on the contest action!!  All community members are allowed to participate.  Entries will be accepted up to the close of voting, but if your interested try to get them in early.  @PunkBuster is our reigning image champion so he is one to be beat...but I am sure he will appreciate the competition.

Yesssir!!! It's official folks. Klub Exile is now the largest TK17 Community in existence.  The growth of and interest in Klub Exile over the past few months have been mind boggling and has now surpassed The Lovers Lab Portal numbers. But you don't want to hear me yap....lets talk numbers...

I would have to say competition has been a good driver for the community, we started tracking numbers as new communities popped up and all I can say is wow!! In the time it took KE LL to get 1200 members, Team K17 LL 1000 members...Klub Exile gained 1800 members.  That's our fastest growth rate to date.

Where are all these people coming from? It seems we are getting more and more new members coming from outside of LoverLab...I guess people doing Google searches and Klub Exile popping up all over...haha I guess those ModGarden.net and ModsGarden.org redirects help a little also .

I think we can now say the lack of a ModsGarden 2.0 has effectively made Klub Exile the Official space for modding, learning, and the TK17 community. So to all you Klub Exile community members or folks looking from the outside, thank you all for officially making Klub Exile the new King on the block.

Ok let me just get this out before I dive in.  Yes Kraegar created a damn mermaid, and is freaking awesome.  Ok now that I have posted my standard Kraegar fanboy pic....lets continue.

So if folks have noticed.  There is shit ton of people in this club. And at the time of writing this he KE Portal has 3989 members with the main site not far behind with 3875 Members.  Yes growth is accelerating, as there has always been about a 250 member gap between the two sites.  Well that is now closing.

What does this mean?

Well...it means a lot of new folks, a lot of old folks, and a alot of everything folks.  For us on the admin team it means more responsibility.  It means keeping any drama at minimum, adding new features to help current members and new members navigate, and simply keeping the interest in the community alive and encouraging users to produce more content.

As @Oz70NYC being a forum administrator is not easy work.  It takes time, patience, and dedication, to ensure that you stay above the fray. Giving people enough space to say their peace but ensuring that space does not become a toxic hell stew of garbage dragging the community down.

While May is approaching us fast, soon enough we will be right there in October celebrating the first year in. Which in my opinion was a huge success.

A Refocus of our Mission

Just want to reiterate that our initial focus stays the same. That is to foster a vibrant modding community for TK17 were modders, content creaters, and players can all enjoy the fruits of the community without fear of reprisal. Doesn't matter if it is Smoke, Oz, Euphie, GK, x17, or myself...that mission remains the focus for all of us. 

Site Updates

Well some of the nice things about paying for a premium community application, is that you tend to get some pretty sweet updates.  We are looking forward to IPS version 4.6 that will bring some new features into the community.  Like usual we will discuss as an admin team what will work best for us, but be on the lookout for some major updates coming in the next 4-6 months.

CONTENT IS KING

Bill Gates wrote an essay back in 1996 titled "Content is King"  In this article he pretty much predicted how internet content will eventually be where all the focus is.  Well in my opinion he was right every step of the way.  So in respect to content I figured I should give folks an update of the insane amount of content being created on Klub Exile.

HOOK5 ROOM MADNESS

First off those Hook5Boys are busy as ever. Sexvision and sadekhnd are pushing out H5 Object Rooms like none ever. To a point we have had to separate things out to give a folks a better idea of what they are downloading

The two of them not only are helping push these rooms but have additionally brought new utilities to the community to make even easier to add H5 Rooms with proper pose locations.  Big ups to the two of them for thinking out side the box.

Finally, yes yours trully has been busy messing with Bodies like Frakenstein in his lab.  With the new XBody Female and Male Morphing Bodies we now have the ability to change and adapt bodies with a simple slider.  No more reloading of Rooms!!!

These numbers have nothing to do with the the 6 of us admins.  This is all about the community at large who basically said the end of MG is not going to be the end of the Community.  None of this is possible without them.

TK17 Community Graphics Poll

Something new that we did was polled the community for a change. One of the most active threads we have going is a friednly debate around the importance of Hook5, 64Bit, Will here be a Hook6, and where users preferences are at with all that is going.  So...we posed the simple question in a poll.

What did we learn? With almost 296 Members responsing (Putting the Margin of Error at about  +- 8%).  Some surprising conclusions

• THE OVERWHELMING MAJORITY OF THE COMMUNITY ARE HOOK5 USERS (Over 80%)
• FOLKS STILL USE RESHADE
• HOOK5 SUPPORT IN VX2 IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FEATURE ABOUT HALF OF THE COMMUNITY WANTS
