I've pushed the Spooky Month update for Display Model 3 (SSE) tagged as Gamma 1, aka the first release candidate for 3.0. It contains a few bug fixes and three new furnitures.

* Hot Cider Stand - spooky variant of the Lemonade Stand.

* Chapel of Souls - spooky variant of the Chapel of Dibella.
* Coffin - has open, closed, and a glass door version. There is one that is standing, and another laying flat.

Fun fact: used a SD AI to make that spider web texture.

Updated Furniture: The Lamp

they now have little pull chains near their heads that can be targeted and pulled to rotate through the various brightnesses, so they don't have to be taken off and reslotted into a different brightness. there is now an off state while someone is in the lamp. also now uses the mesh swapping stuff to switch to a version of the lampshade that glows when in an on state so that it looks more on when it is on. there is also a purple colour lamp now, but i did that a while ago just don't remember if i ever said.

which really helps out a lot if you are not using enb.

has 10 different fill levels. future plans include soulgem oven adding display model furniture for a male milking station that will automatically fill the nearest tank. if the ice block flickers for you this likely will too. i'm beginning to think its a video driver setting or an amd thing, because i cannot make the ice block nor this flicker no matter where i put it.

had to add new features to the framework itself that other devices needed as well. like now i can make the rocking horse rock again, add a button that can change brightness of lamps, as well as mesh swap so the lamp shade gets a glow shader when its on. haven't done any of these things yet... but i can lol.

Initial pass on bringing back the custom interaction system seems to work. Granted the only furniture that ever had interactions in the past was the The Chair, but the new system makes it [a lot] easier to invent new ones so maybe I'll finally get around to adding some for other devices.

The player can use the furniture too now. Like in older versions of Display Model while a furniture is in use the characters have their Arousal lowered over time unless flagged as an exhibitionist then it goes up. To get off the furniture you mash the jump button, and every attempt costs stamina. The lower your stamina is the less of a chance you have at successfully dismounting the furniture, and every failed attempt will actually have the opposite effect raising your Arousal. Successful dismounting of the device will lower Arousal by a substantial amount. This gameifies it a little - can you dismount before you raise Arousal even higher than you started (assuming your goal was to lower it and get your Lover's Whatever perk back). Additionally, the less aroused you are the easier it becomes to dismount.

There are also a few other optional settings like make it impossible to dismount unless x Real Life minutes have passed, and then the dismounting works as before. There is also an option to just automatically dismount when Arousal reaches 0. Also started working on the MCM. The times shown the left time is in Game World time and the right time is Real Life time.

They have been "remastered" from the Oldrim version. Smoothed the mesh out, tweaked the texture UV on the heads to blend a bit better, gave the dongs the nicer looking pseudochrome texture. Also with the new system the restraints don't show if an actor is not mounted so they look cleaner when standing around the house.

Added an option where you set the size of a piece of furniture between 10% to 200% of its normal size. Collect all the followers, put them on tiny devices, and set them a shelf for easy storage lol.

a lot has changed with display model since the last post about it. when i started working on sgo4 i decided to change a lot of things about how the mods are structured internally. both because its better and also to try to lessen the impact of conflicts if people don't listen to me and install my oldrim mods on sse. another issue i experienced was ActorUtil package overrides don't quite seem to work right in the SSE version and it's been a thing long enough that it's just time to work around it - all yall that installed oldrim untamed and oldrim display model on sse have all reported the same glitches because of the inconsistency in the sse version of ActorUtil.

main thing i've done is change the way furniture is added to the mod. its now as "simple" as adding a json file that lists a few things pointing to forms in your esp, and it magically shows up in game. at this point i am officially declaring Display Model SSE a furniture framework in addition to whatever it was considered before. the real magic in this system though is the actor slotting - devices can define as many slots as they want. you could make a device that is just a rack that holds like 24 different people for all it matters.

i only tested with two, tho. i present: THE DOUBLE DOLL STAND, dun dun DUNNNNN!

in this video the first menu where i select a device is just my developer menu. in the final release you will craft devices at the forge and drop them from your inventory. the second menu though is legit, its where you pick what slot on the device to assign a character to.
