Gameplay:

In order to advance your relationship with Inga, you have to get to know her. She is not very picky about whom she dates, but depending on your stats it may be harder or easier for you to talk with her about personal things.
First of all you have to leave a good first impression. You have several topics, to get to know her. Some of them give you choices on how you feel about them. Be careful what you say to her, as some choices may lead to her liking you less. Once you chose to comment on a topic, the choice will not come again. However, you will be able to avoid making a choice and come back, if you have high enough speech. There are no hidden checks in this phase. There is one choice, which causes her to be permanently pissed at you (you will know which one, when you see it).
Once she likes you enough, you can discuss personal things with her and ask her out.
If she´s okay with going out with you, you should prepare some stuff for the dates. There are currently the following things you can do on dates:

• eating
• drinking
• talking
• dancing
• doing drugs
• ?

There is a hint on every item you need during her conversation. Doing drugs will be available after the 3rd date. There are more than ten topics to talk about during dates. Some topics will only appear, if she likes you enough, you have reached certain amount of dates and sex scenes, you have a high enough speech skill or you possess certain items. They can only be discussed once. Some choices are hidden skill checks so be careful and think about what you say to her. You can tell, if she likes something during dates either by her reaction or by the sound effect("woohoo" or "dun dun dun"*). Some of the topics can lead to new sex scenes or enable the gambling date.
In order to dance with her, you have to grab the music discs at the front desk of the Mojave Express and have them in your inventory.
When you've finished your date you get one of four different results. After that you have the choice on how you want to say goodbye to her. Be careful what you choose here. Having a bad date and trying to kiss her passionately might not be such a good idea, for example.
If she likes you enough, the choice to "get in her pants" appears in her personal topics.

Tips:
 

• There is a maximum number of 10 LikePoints you can achieve during the "get to know"-phase.
• The maximum number of LikePoints you can get for a date should be 10.
• If you take drugs that boost your SPECIALS you might be able to overcome the tresholds quicker, as they are dynamicly based on your stats.
• Dates and sex scenes are available once a day only! (every 24 hours)
• I've included some challenges to make it interesting. There are currently XP-rewards for 5,10,15,20 dates and sex scenes respectively
• It might be worthwile to boost your stats right before you have sex with her. You'll be able to score some LikePoints based on your performance
• Helping out the Bartender JD at the bar in the Vikki & Vance Casino, might make him give you some tips as well.

Technical stuff

• I've taken some precautions for the travelling states, in order for her to reach her destination. You can tell if she is in a travel state as she will give you a one-liner ("Let's talk at Vikki's") much like the generic NPCs. If you somehow manage to talk to her during this state you can mess her up permanently! Don´t do it!
• If you use Smallertalk, make sure you update to the newest version (1.2.5 or above). It works fine with older versions, but you might be able to trigger the problems I've mentioned above
• I have not tested this mod with SOPregancy, SORapist, SOBrutalRapers or SOBreeder. Please report, if there are any incompatibilities and I try to fix them.

NEW! Planned for next update:

• dancing and music is still on my to do list, I've asked for help and hope that with some collaboration we can create something nice
• give Inga's storyline a proper climax (no pun intended:D)
• work has begun on new characters

Strangely enough she says she isn't into wome....yet it didn't keep her from eating out my character after the first date.... ;p

While it is intended that she adresses the player as male, there are no restrictions for female PCs. There are actually parts of dialogue included that would prevent female players from advancing, but I cut them out so that everyone can play.

Generally... as a rule, using your very own first post to criticise someone else's work is considered bad, bad form. Especially with something as subjective and relative as beauty. I tend to think she looks beautiful, if only because she doesn't look like every other plasticky supermodel barbie doll we see out there, and has her own innate cuteness. You can feel free to disagree with that assessment, but you can do so without being a douche about it.

 

You're also only increasing the chances the author is just going to outright ignore you.

I would even go as far as congratulate on your assessment. No one dared me on my assessment of beauty. But your random comment made me think some things over. Maybe I wasn't objective enough. Maybe I have been slacking off. No matter, thank you for bringing this to my attention, it is clearly an eye opener.

 

Note to myself: In the future, I will only create characters that cater to mariotx's personal taste of beauty. I'm not going to be irritated by random dudes demanding to make my characters more beautiful. I will resist that urge and only devote my freetime to satisfy your personal whim.

Not every guy wants to screw women that have tits the size of hot air ballons, a 2 inch waist and a face that resembles a color chart from a paint factory.

No, I haven't planned anything like that for her. Bi/lesbian encounters could be a possibility for different kinds of girls, maybe in the future. But as of now the mod is on hold, until I get back to it at some unspecified time in the future. 

 

However, you can play SOA as a female courier and IIRC there aren't that many gender-specific references. She might say that she won't date women at the beginning, but that's just for flavor and has no meaning anymore, because I removed the check that would've prevented you to date her playing as a woman.

Oh, so she mostly acts all gender neutral like? I just though she'd compliment my lady character all like "you're a big, manly stud" or some other immersion breaking awkward stuff lol.

There might be a few things that sound "wrong", but it's not like that she constantly comments on your manhood.

 

I'd suggest to just try it out and see for yourself, you can add/remove this mod at any time without breaking stuff. Although you shouldn't store things in her room or give her certain items later on that you would regret losing, if you decide to remove the mod again.

Actually, I might try to change her dialog by myself if I figure out how to do that. I'd love to share it if you like the idea, although I suspect it won't be easy to write new stuff based on gender and get her to recognize it (instead of just replacing hers to add remarks over my character's feminity).

The dialogue is a bit convoluted and all over the place, spanning multiple quests, so there might be some searching involved. Just remember to use the NVSE-editor, otherwise you'd break the mod.

IMO, I'd keep her a hetero woman. If eventually more women are added, of course, a few of 'em should be lesb and bi.

Having NPCs with different orientations make 'em more realistic, as the orientaion is part of their personality. If you make every new NPC bisexual, they get more 'generic' and less 'unique'.

 

Anyway, this is just my opinion.

Personally, I LOVE her.

 

She's 'normal', somewhat of a rarity in NPC mods, a GND, you have to learn about her likes and dislikes [W5 & H - who, what, where, when, why, and how].

It's the affair, the chase that makes this grand. Yeah, I perk her up with Lings [what woman doesn't if she's looking for...], but even so she's 'average pretty' and that's great.

 

It's the "relationship" that gets me, there's a realism there missing from 'Hey girl! Wanna F***?' mods. It's the interaction...

 

Also why I love Willow so much.

 

I keep coming back to Inga [it's actually a little irritating, I mean, I CARE...]

 

and I keep coming back to check the Affairs page to see if another wonderful woman has moved to the Mojave and is looking for the love in her life. Sadly...

[Wonder how I would feel 'dating' more than one at the same time, or how Inga would feel maybe having to 'compete' for your love against others, or what would happen if you kept it secret and then got found out?]]

 

From a guy that can't use the GECK yet, that would probably involve some SERIOUS heavy scripting interactions and other modding from what little I've learned, so I'm not holding my breath...would be AWESOME tho'...

Having a 'living' NPC is great for game immersion: not just the 'normal' relationship, but the idles during dialog, dialogs 'emselves, the daily schedules...

I'm looking very much forward to t's "Intimacy Project" and plan on adding new characters here, once that mod has reached a stable state. You can try it out already (and you should, it is awesome), but be warned it is subject to constant changes and some iterations require a new game or a save where that mod wasn't already loaded.

 

I'm working on a different unannounced mod though, which can potentially tie in to SOA and probably the Intimacy Project, but it is still very early in development and I'm not ready to divulge much information about it yet.

Anyone else having a problem with the sex animations, she just follows me naked.

That isn't supposed to happen. Check if your sexout installation is working. If it is, try to reinitiate the scene by reloading an earlier save. She is only supposed to follow you for a couple of seconds before sex is initiated.
