Compared to a site like Moped Army, this site is very civilized. I don't know though, I haven't checked the MA message boards in years.

I was a member of the mother site to LL, dedicated to Oblivion mods. I heard about it on the Hongfire hentai forums, and it was simply called SexLab by then, if I remember correctly. This was before Skyrim was released.

To be honest I cheeked around for mods on other places than nexus like loverlab and that dragon site I always forget the full name of and I been a lurker ever sense and I should maybe stick to being a lurker.

I can't really remember but highly likely it was a text I found somewhere about the old Prison Overhaul https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/131-prison-overhaul and with the link to LL ...  that lured me....

(And to put it simple: vanilla Skyrim prison = huge pile of boring garbage)

I don't remember the name of the site I used to poke at for the more fun mods for oblivion back in the before times (which died of drama, neglect and incredibly bad moderation practices), but when it died I kind of just poked along for a while until I stumbled on LL while looking for some mods to liven up my bajillionth New Vegas playthrough. And well... here I am.

At launch, I played Skyrim not knowing about modding and soon I got bored and stop. Years later, I read about modding that literally change the gameplay and that renewed my interest in the game. Then I wondered if somebody thought of the same thing to mod in some bdsm stuff and now here I am.

Curiosity brought me to LL.  I played a lot of Morrowind for a long time, then when oblivion came out and I had a machine that could run it I played a lot of that too.  At that point I knew mods for those games existed but never looked into them, and didn't really understand how it all worked or even what they were capable of.  After so many hundreds of hours in vanilla morrowind I looked into what mods could offer for it on PlanetElderScrolls (RIP).  I was genuinely impressed by what people could do with it, so I looked into Oblivion mods, figuring a newer game would have even more amazing mods for it, especially since it was sort of better known.  I ended up on loverslab after I became curious about adult modding.  I saw a couple mods with tenuous sexual content for Morrowind back on PES and figured someone would have had to have made similar for Oblivion.  Little did I know how extensive and in depth it all was at the time.  I don't remember exactly how I got to this site, it might have been a progression of searches that started with "oblivion adult mods", which would have led me to Friends and Lovers, which in turn led me to Loverslab.  At first I made a mental note of the site but did nothing else, but sometimes troubleshooting problems with other mods would bring me back here and I'd see a bit more each time so eventually, being young and horny, I tentatively downloaded a couple mods, still not sure whether I was about to kill my computer with viruses but willing to try for the sake of virtual sex, went through the noob process of failing to get my requirements sorted out, screwing my load order completely and somehow misplacing files before I finally found my sea legs and was able to run the game without a ctd every time something triggered.  Been here now since about 2012, watched a lot of stuff come out of this site.  For a while I figured this place was a haven for perverted degenerates, and kept away from ever posting anything on the naive assumption that if I didn't talk my own deviant interests were somehow less deviant.  At this point, all the mention of rape and bestiality mods put me pretty well off.  I later learned that it IS a haven for perverted degenerates, but that they're largely alright folks that just want to change their porn and/or game experience and started taking some measure of part in the community, if no other way than sharing my own solutions to problems and giving a thumbs up to the people that do all the work around here.  At this point I've tried mods of basically every flavour LL has to offer, barring a couple things that will simply always put me off as I have come to learn.  Looking forward to what come out of the community for future games.

maybe oblivion.. maybe fallout 3 hell i don't remember that far back but i've been playing with mods since i started pc gaming back when pc's first came into being as home computers. just because i like newdie mods and shit i eventually wondered over here.... really? those other places have assholes??? i never even looked that direction. one day imma have ta look around somewhere else... this place just has the bestest peeps and mods so why bother?

  Mrrr, I ferget. Was 'Blivion or mebbe Fallout3 or some buggery. Was lookin' fer something I saw on a screenshot or something that Nexus or Planetelderscrolls (Hreh, remember them?) didnae have. Was nae particularly fussed wi' all the nudity and sex mods and whatnot at the time, then again, back then neither were nexus, it's image sections were nothin' but elf tits. So yea, you were just another mod site

 

  Then the missis started a skyrim run and installed Slab, it's sorta her way, mod it untill it breaks then yell at me untill I prod it with a wrench and make it work again. So I actually had to come over here and read the fuckin' manuals untill I could figure out what the hell she'd done wrong, and whilst doin' that I started readin' other stuff here. Came to see it wasnae a site full o' rape obsessed asshats erryone assumed it was back then, was just people playin' their games in different ways. Playin' games in different ways is what moddin's supposed to be about, and those people doin' it looked a lot like me, they tend not to give a damn.

 

Not that I do anything usefull around here, but yer my go to when I'mma poking around any bethesda stuff, which is often. So yeah, 's home.
